Odette rushed through the spiral staircase to the library. However, just when she was about to step inside the library, she hesitated for a moment.
She wasn't sure if this was a good idea, considering that if Sir Ymir decided to leak her plan to His Majesty, then she would be done. There would be no chance that the Masked Alpha would let her leave before marking her.
'M-maybe this isn't a good idea, after all...' Odette hesitated. She was about to turn around and return to her room. However, just when she was about to go back, Ymir's voice suddenly called her from the library.
"Why are you standing there like an idiot, Milady?" Ymir joked. "Come in, so we can have a little talk."
Odette gulped. She had no way to avoid him right now, so she braced herself and walked into the library.
Ymir was sitting on his usual seat, looking at her with kind eyes.
