Odette was busy going back and forth, checking all the things she deemed necessary for her escape.
Naturally, she didn't need to carry essentials like matches for fire. She already had the light balls that would do many things for her.
But she only had a small bag enough to carry her spellbook and also maybe one tunic for emergency clothing in case the one she was wearing got ripped on her way out of the kingdom.
She couldn't bring too much, since she had to move hastily through the forest, and one thing she learned about traversing through the deep forest was to carry less, so no predator would be able to detect any sound coming from you.
Odette silently pondered until she decided to bring three things;
The Spellbook given by her teacher.
A spare tunic.
And lastly… a small trinket that His Majesty gave to her.
Odette picked up the pin given by His Majesty while they were on their way to the Ymir's tower for the first time.
