Chapter 50 - Reaching Loran City

Finally ''50'', Half century, that's a big milestone for me, even though not much of thing to celebrate, but for me it is and I hope that I would be able to write this fic to the end without any problem comes.

The moment Pakura performed that Jutsu, she rapidly generated and expelled a highly concentrated burst of superheated air imbued with her Scorch Release Kekkai Genkai.

This wasn't just regular wind; it was air heated to an extreme degree.

Even all the Genin behind her felt an instinctive fear and heat from this intense heat, which surpassed the sun's heat they had been feeling through their journey.

Meanwhile, the sandstorm that was rushing towards them slightly halted, as if an invisible barrier had suddenly appeared between the sandstorm and them.

And it was true.

Pakura's Jutsu created a localized, temporary barrier around them.

The intense force of the wind component actively pushed away incoming sand and dust, while the extreme heat caused the air within the barrier to become less dense, further aiding deflection.

The forces that were halting the sandstorm felt like they would be very hard to control, but Pakura's expressions were casual, like it didn't affect her even a bit.

But the team wasn't able to see this, as directly after Pakura's using the Jutsu, they all made a small circle and crouched low on ground.

Even though Pakura was able to stop the immediate effect of the sandstorm, they still needed to be ready if for aftermath that might comes, just as Pakura had told them.

They secured their gears, ensuring nothing was blown away.

Pouches were clenched tight, and loose items were held firmly by them.

Thanks to Pakura's technique, breathing didn't become difficult and the air around them became less dense.

Within the next few minutes, Pakura not only halted but even took care of the sandstorm completely, eliminating it.

Then she looks back at her team saw them Crouch low on ground.

Phew!

She slightly sighed in relief upon looking that her team of eight was okay.

"Alright, you all can get up now."

Everyone started to disperse the circle they had made.

They looked around them and found that the sandstorm was completely gone, and the sky started to become visible again.

Before, the sandstorm had completely covered the sky and sun, which even made the surrounding area look like midnight.

'What was that Jutsu?' Kaiji thought, awe-struck. 'It's really so powerful!'

While the team was relieving themselves, praising and appreciating Pakura and started continuing their journey to Loran City, Kaiji was left stunned at the feeling of the Jutsu Pakura had used.

'That intense heat of Jutsu even surpassing the Fire Jutsu that Nao used with our Wind Jutsu amplify,' he mused, comparing its power.

'Does that mean this Scorch Release Jutsus was even above than a standard B-rank Fire Ninjutsus? Well, it's possible, I suppose.'

Kaiji remembered that Scorch Release in the anime was a very powerful Bloodline Limit only known to Pakura.

That creates extremely hot, scorching winds and manipulated intense heat to a devastating degree, which even made its Jutsus surpass numerous Fire Release Jutsu if compare Heat and destructive power of them.

He only remembered one specific Scorch Release Jutsu from the anime that the reanimated Pakura used,

"Scorch Release: Incinerating Flare!"

That particular Jutsu seemed like her signature move in the anime, where she combined all her heat orbs into a single massive superheated orb with immense destructive power.

'This is the first time I understand the vast difference between a normal natural affinity Jutsu and a Kekkai Genkai Jutsu!' Kaiji realized, truly surprised.

He understood the difference now that simply looking at anime's characters using elemental Kekkai Genkai didn't convey how vast the difference in power could actually be against normal elemental Jutsus.

...

The team, without much disturbance and with a full five and a half days of travel, reached the outskirts of Loran City at night time.

"Finally!"

The team sighed in relief for finally reaching their mission destination place.

"W-what's happening here?" Haruki exclaimed amidst their relief, his voice filled with surprise.

Whole Team then left stunned looking in from of the Ancient City they have reached.

Pakura was also keenly looking in front of the Ancient City.

Which did not appear still, but rather as a place violently alive.

What they were seeing wasn't a prosperous city, but rather a city that was on verge to become a ruins.

The silence of the desert they had been traveling in was replaced by a low, guttural thrum sound that vibrated not just in the air but through the very earth beneath their feet.

Buildings in front of them, half-buried in sand, seemed to ripple like water.

Their stone walls were subtly twisting and reforming.

CRACK!

BOOM!

A deafening sound echoed from miles away, a resounding.

The team members were shocked and slightly shaken, not from fear, but from the tremor shaking the ground.

'What's going on there?' Pakura thought, her gaze fixed on the turbulent city.

Kaiji on the other hand also questioning same, but he has realised the real cause of this turbulence.
