Inside S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
"Commander, do you need us to intervene?"
Inside S.H.I.E.L.D., the ever-serious Nick Fury sat watching the live footage being transmitted by his agents. His expression was solemn as he analyzed the unfolding chaos.
Beside him, Agent Phil Coulson placed a fresh cup of coffee on the table. "Here's your coffee, sir," he said. "Should we prepare a response?"
"Not yet," Fury replied, reaching for the sugar container nearby. He stirred the coffee absentmindedly, his mind preoccupied with the situation.
The emergence of All Might had introduced an unexpected variable. If he hadn't appeared, Fury would have already deployed agents to provide backup. But now, with the powerful hero on the scene, the pressure on S.H.I.E.L.D. had lessened considerably.
He even found himself considering the idea of recruiting All Might into the Avengers initiative. A hero with his strength and sense of justice could be invaluable.
For now, though, the priority was to handle the immediate crisis.
Just as he took a sip of his coffee, his face contorted in disgust.
"What the hell?! Why is this salty?!" Fury spat out the coffee, glaring at Coulson.
The agent sighed, shaking his head. "That's salt, sir. Not sugar."
Fury scowled, rubbing his temples. "Damn it. This is not my day."
Outside the Dimensional Black Shop
Abomination charged toward Fang Xing with terrifying speed, an ugly grin twisting his face. He could already picture the scene—the tears of regret streaming down All Might's face as he faced the bodies of the two people he had failed to protect.
But something felt… off.
Despite the monstrous sight of Abomination barreling toward him, Fang Xing remained completely unfazed. There was no fear in his eyes, only a calm amusement that mirrored All Might's expression.
"What the hell is with that look?!" Abomination roared in frustration. "You think you're better than me?! I'll crush you into pulp!"
Just as he was about to strike, a powerful voice rang out.
"Detroit Smash!"
A deafening gust of wind pressure slammed into Abomination, sending him flying before he could reach Fang Xing. His body soared high into the air before crashing into the already ruined street, creating a massive crater upon impact.
Abomination groaned, barely able to move. His once unbreakable defense had been shattered.
Rain began to fall, the scattered drops dousing the flames on the street, restoring a semblance of peace.
"Hah…" All Might exhaled deeply, finally allowing his body to revert to his weakened state. He had poured all his remaining strength into that final attack, and he was satisfied with the result.
The onlookers who had been hiding finally stepped out of their shelters, their faces filled with awe and relief.
"HOO! WHERE'S THAT RED-SKINNED BASTARD?! HULK WANTS TO SMASH!"
The victory celebration was cut short as Hulk, still disconnected from reality, pounded on a nearby car in frustration. He had completely lost track of the battle and was now looking for his opponent.
All Might, now in his scrawny form, turned to Fang Xing helplessly.
Fang Xing sighed and took a step forward.
"What's he planning?" The agents watching remotely murmured, intrigued by Fang Xing's calm demeanor.
As Fang Xing approached Hulk, the green giant turned to him with a deep scowl.
"You! WHERE'S THAT RED-SKINNED GUY? HULK IS TALKING TO YOU!" Hulk's voice boomed.
Fang Xing remained silent, continuing his slow, deliberate approach.
"HMPH! YOU'RE IGNORING HULK?!" Furious, Hulk swung his massive hand toward Fang Xing, intending to grab him.
But before the giant's hand could make contact, Fang Xing calmly raised a single finger.
In an instant, without a single word, a bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky, striking Hulk directly.
"ARGHHH!" Hulk howled in pain as his massive body convulsed.
When the light faded, Hulk was gone. In his place lay a naked Dr. Bruce Banner, unconscious on the cold pavement.
A stunned silence fell over the crowd.
No one had expected this.
Fang Xing simply dusted off his hands and turned back to All Might.
