Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: A Day like any other

'She won't leave,'

I thought walking through the mansion as I stopped at the window and gazed at the girl standing just outside the gates.

It's been three days since I arrived here. It's empty. The whole mansion is vacant. It seems the duke was serious about taking away all my privileges. Well, I wasn't left completely to my own devices. There was this maid that came from time to time to prepare my food. I don't know where she comes from, but I always see her here three times a day.

".... sighs," I sighed and ignored the maid standing outside the gate. According to my memories as Anderson, she has been with me since childhood, and strangely enough, she was the only maid that approached him. For some strange reason, all the other maids, from the moment she became his personal maid, had avoided him like a plague, and it got worst with the degenerate behavior he adapted. Even at this moment my body seemed to be craving that carnal pleasure so much it's affecting my reasoning. He had at this point become addicted to sex, about the only thing he did since his dick began to stand.

Tsk.

Annoying, I have to find a way to get this body under control. I have to shed some of this weight and control this overwhelming urges. This is one of the reasons I want her far from me, I don't want to do something to her, she's the closest thing to family for Anderson. Though he was an irredeemable scumbag, he could never bring himself to do anything against her, in a way he saw her as a friend, or rather, a sibling.

So his scummy attitude was left for when he had his 'friends' hung out.

From what I could sense from him, he was kind of happy whenever she was near him, and that was probably since she was the only person that ever showed him a bit of kindness and care, even with that cold front she always put on.

'Just leave. Please.' I sighed and walked down the stairs. Arriving at the main hall, I walked towards the left which led to a corridor, from there I was able to find a dining room, and atop the large table was my 'modest' meal.

"Quite efficient," I nodded then walked towards the table. My body still felt like dead weight, but I was now getting used to it.

I have been thinking of ways to lessen this fat, but I still have nothing.

"Mmm," I sighed in relief as I finally sat now, closing my eyes for a brief moment.

I opened them up after a brief moment then smiled a bit, gazing at the delicacy in front of me. It was always nice to have a good meal, that was the only thing that I actually found myself anticipating at this times.

Tsk.

Seems I will be stuck this way for a while.

I looked at the dish in front of me, it was mostly meat, meat, and meat. Not that I hated it, in fact I actually liked the vary taste of various meat that had pasted through various preparations. But then again... it's this every kind of meals that is the reason for Anderson's current predicament, so I can't eat too much of it not to make it worst.

I grabbed the fork and the knife and began cutting away at some strange meat I was seeing for the first time.

Sighs.

Elvira.

That's the fiancée of Anderson. The reason he got into this mess in the first place. She sort of hated him... yeah, she completely despised the young man and with every face to face meeting she always made it abundantly clear. She traumatized the young man so much, that he became so afraid he was ready to risk his life in a duel against his brother who not only possessed ether but also a sypha. He nearly died in that fight, but he didn't care, all he wanted was for the engagement to be broken.

Sighs.

The Academy.

I have to find a way to reduce this excess weight before it begins or I will suffer a lot, a whole lot.

And...

There is this certain memory of Larson that keeps bugging me.

A certain memory of a game.
