The whole warehouse was covered in ice, it was like I was in the North Pole. Of course it had melted considerably by now, but it looked like I'd frozen the place pretty good....
I grimaced as I looked at Cisco, realizing his situation, but exhaled when I heard a faint heartbeat. His pulse was awfully slow, but he was lucky, he was covered in frost and even a little pale, and his lips were blue. But from the looks of it, he would still be able to live a little longer for me, I planned to test Killer Frost's strength while there was still time. If it were a normal case, I would have taken the guy's strength right away and not worried. But there might be unnecessary problems after such a mass freeze, so I need to change the shelter. Oh, and I mixed the girl's powers with the water from the Pit, I just have to check the results. If they're positive, I'll also add this marvelous water to Cisco's bone marrow.

A huge chunk of ice immediately formed on my hand. It was strikingly different from a simple piece of hail that I could create with weather powers. This difference was like earth and sky. Even the temperatures were drastically different, as was the strength. Killer Frost Ice was of a completely different level.
After using very little energy to create this piece of ice, I felt the energy in my inner crystal diminish. All I could do was feel its shape and the amount of energy in it. Unconsciously, but I even realized how much power I needed to use to drain the crystal completely. It's probably something like the core of my ice power. I didn't know Caitlin had one. Not surprising though, it's not a crystal, it's more like an actual essence. She could contact that essence and borrow powers. With me it's different, I own the crystal completely, so I can control its energy at will. Even shut it down and not use it, completely controlling my normal body temperature. But I can also, very easily.

There was a light vapor coming off my body, and then my skin turned slightly pale. Combined with my normally pale skin, it became even lighter. I felt my entire body change as it became icy cold. The energy from the crystal circulated perfectly through my body, causing no harm at all.
The crystal is very small, so I have enough strength for a couple dozen sharp icicles at most, and the circulation of cold energy allows me to control the forces much better. For example, if I didn't circulate the energy and it took longer to create an icicle. It's like I'm not using the full power of my ability. But with circulation, it turns out to be very easy, I can control the ice easily, probably can even excrete it from my body.
Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, I'm nowhere near Killer Frost. If I remember correctly, her abilities are capable of more, and I'm more of a small ice mage. I wish I had something to compare it to, so I haven't noticed the effects of the water from Lazarus Pit yet. It may or may not have enhanced my abilities, I don't know. But it doesn't seem to do any harm, and I don't feel like eating, so I'll add it now, maybe it will do some good, who knows....
In the future it would be worth trying to learn how to develop her powers, I'll have more opportunities to do so, not only because of the place I'm going to, but also because Caitlin won't awaken her powers anytime soon. And even after she does, she won't have much control. By then, maybe I can develop them to a level close to hers and be able to compare powers. Maybe even take a little more brain and get stronger, who knows?
Having finished with the Killer Frost abilities, I was satisfied. The place I'm going to, they might be able to help, at least I hope so. Still, it's dangerous there and very different than here. Though, what am I guessing, I might not be able to just open the portal. So I should eat Reverb before he dies of hypothermia.
It's good not to feel cold, but I can still smell it, and there's not just a lot of liquid, there's an awful lot of liquid, and this is the second time I've smelled it. It's like my body's picked up some kind of toxin, it's like-- It stinks, but I can't help it, I'll just go one more time and then I'll wash up.
Ripping out the IV, I took the medicine, my clothes, and my bag before throwing Cisco on my shoulder and starting to walk out of here. Last thing I did was freeze everything, and then I left. The evidence is still there, but I don't really care about that. It's not my world, so who cares what happens? I won't be here long anyway...

After teleporting a few times, I found a warehouse on the other side of town and settled there. It wasn't a bad place, and judging by the smell, no one had been here in a long time. It would do for a while... Glancing at my phone, I realized it had only been one day, which was unpleasant. The time cycles seemed to be related to something other than the meta people's powers, and the amount of black liquid hadn't decreased. It would probably be more with Cisko, but there was nothing to be done about that. It's been a week with Roshtein, hopefully Reverb won't let us down. This all started after taking the Pit water, so there's a good chance that's the issue. There were more toxins, especially since I had absorbed very little of Killer Frost's brain, and the toxins were no less than after absorbing Atomic Destroyer's powers. The time, while not as long, was still stressful.... Well, if that's the only effect of taking this water, it's bearable. I hope that's it, I really hope so...
I didn't even tie the guy down, just set him up nicely on the table and started extracting the marrow with quick movements. I had an idea to freeze it, but I decided against it, the guy's brain is quite precious, so I wasn't going to risk it. I'll do some experiments in the future, but not now.
