My final layer of defense is the Hull clothes I am wearing. Mater once said that this blue sweatshirt was more durable than ordinary clothing, and I would be able to confirm how strong it really was in this duel. Of course, it wouldn't provide perfect protection against powerful attacks but I was truly glad to be wearing this clothes. Normally, the wound I received would have been very serious and if I hadn't worn this clothes, it was obvious that the sword would reach my liver. Even though it was only a few centimeters deep, it was painful. I felt as if a nail had been hammered into my back.
When I turned around, I saw Viola transforming back into mist. Due to the technique she used, I couldn't detect her presence with the wind currents swirling around me. So, I decided to stop using this wind magic.
Using magic gives you significant advantages but it also carries certain risks. In another story, I might talk about how we need to utilize the "mana" within our bodies to cast magic.
