I have never had an extraordinary potential in magic.
I knew this since my childhood. I wasn't someone who could never use magic but I also wasn't someone capable of doing the things people dream of. I was at the gap between those who could perform magic and those who couldn't.
Which side I wanted to climb was up to me. I decided to prioritize my physical abilities. If I had wanted, I could have focused solely on magic.
The reason I didn't do that was because of Iris.
I noticed from a young age that she would become a powerful mage in the future. Even if she only thought about healing people, her talent in magic was evident. As long as terrible things didn't happen to us, we didn't think of separating from each other.
