"Yeah, yeah, if I were Secretary Miller, I'd be over the moon today. I heard Jack Smith cornered her in the elevator, and when the doors opened, President Hallow carried her away. She's really basking in her glory..."
"But if I were a man, I'd like Secretary Miller too. Look at her, she's beautiful even without makeup. In this company, who could possibly be prettier than her...?"
When she finished speaking, the office girls felt something was off. Turning around, they saw Ava Walker standing behind them with an unpleasant expression.
What does it mean, "who's prettier than her in the company," is Charlotte really that beautiful? She certainly didn't think so.
