As they entered the party, Wei Xueqing tugged on Yang Chen.
Yang Chen stopped, looking at Wei Xueqing in confusion.
"I can't drink, could you look after me later?" Wei Xueqing said.
Yang Chen smiled faintly and said, "It's okay, wine usually isn't very strong, a little bit won't be a problem."
Wei Xueqing shook her head, "I have a very low tolerance."
"Then try to drink as little as possible," Yang Chen thought for a moment and added, "If it's really not possible, I can drink for you."
Wei Xueqing looked at Yang Chen gratefully, "Thank you!"
"Let's go!" Yang Chen extended his arm.
Wei Xueqing glanced at Yang Chen and hooked her hand around his arm.
In these kinds of events, one usually needs a male or female companion. It doesn't necessarily mean they're in a romantic relationship, rather attending as partners.
