"I think I broke a rib…" Claude laughed and winced at the bruises he got from landing on his body. It was good that he managed to reach the edge, or else he could have fallen to his death. He then looked at the approaching Gammas. They all looked scary, as if a rampaging tide crashing into Claude's aching body. He asked his mate, "Flag them down when they get here. Let me rest for a bit."
"No need. I think one might even fall off…" Len waited for his Gammas. He wouldn't fault some if they stopped to rest before attempting the jump. The most important task was to arrive at the Grashalm Manor completely intact and without casualties.
Almost all the Gammas swerved in a circle to prepare for the jump. The most powerful three jumped without stopping, landing more miserably than Claude. The Alpha pair even had to help them get over, lest they might fall off.
