Chapter 35: Welcome to the Bunker
Location: Main Control Room – Dawn, Day 7
The CCTV feed flickered.
Fourteen red dots.
Moving fast.
Approaching the bunker from the east flank.
Sid, now alone in the control room, leaned forward—watching every second unfold like a chessboard soaked in blood.
Outside, the enemy team reached a structure embedded in the hillside—one that looked exactly like the bunker's entrance.
They paused. Scanned. Laughed.
From their view, it was going to be easy.
One man. One room.
And soon, one grave.
Then a voice crackled through hidden speakers.
> > "Hello... mic testing—1, 2, 3."
"Welcome to hell. I hope your stay is short… and unforgettable."
The soldiers stopped. Confused.
Sid's voice was calm, theatrical—like a showman about to unveil the final act.
> "It's time you received your punishment... for what you did to Rana, and to this land."
The enemy leader snarled.
> "Coward! Come out, you cunning fox. Time to bury you with your ghosts."
The other soldiers broke into laughter—mocking, cruel, echoing across the jungle edge.
Inside, Sid didn't flinch.
Didn't blink.
Didn't even sweat.
He just whispered:
> "Silence, please."
And pressed a button.
Click.
Hidden panels slid open.
Three auto-mounted mini-guns rose like guardians from the earth—sleek and deadly. Their sensors blinked green.
The laughter outside died instantly.
Sid leaned back in his chair, speaking one last time with a smirk:
> "Happy Diwali."
BOOM—BOOM—BOOM.
The mini-guns roared to life.
Motion sensors activated.
Steel and lead sprayed the dawn.
Bodies dropped like dominoes.
Screams tore through the clearing—then silence.
Smoke curled into the morning air.
The screen slowly turned red as each dot vanished.
Sid exhaled.
Victory.
But then—
Crackle.
A voice in his ear.
> "One escaped," came Krishnan's breathless tone. "He's running west."
Sid's eyes narrowed.
> "I have a backup plan for that."

Scene Cut: Western Cliff Edge
Akash knelt, sweat dripping, sniper rifle trembling in his hands.
He saw the figure running through the clearing.
Fast. Wounded. Desperate.
Akash aimed.
Held his breath.
Pulled the trigger—
Missed.
Krishnan, hidden nearby, clenched his teeth.
> "Shoot again!"
But Akash panicked.
> "I… I can't—my hands—!"
Then Sid's voice came through the comm, calm as ever:
> "Plan C, Shiva."
---
Scene Cut: Northern Ledge
BANG!
A clean shot echoed from another Hilltop.
The soldier dropped—chest pierced.
Shiva, eyes locked behind the scope, didn't even blink.
> "Target neutralized," he said coolly.
But it was too late.
The dying soldier's hand had already hit the red button on a military-grade emergency beacon strapped on the boat.
Flash. Beep.
Transmission sent.
An encrypted message was launched:
Coordinates. Situation: Mission Failed.
Far away… someone received it.
---
Back in the Bunker
Sid stared at the transmission light blinking.
His voice dropped. Grim.
> "They know. The enemy knows we're alive."
"And we've won… the first battle."
But not the war.
---
Narrator Voice:
The lions fought with teeth and tactics.
They defended the island.
They turned fear into fire.
But now the jungle goes quiet again—
Because the real storm is still coming.
They stopped the monsters.
But they awakened the demon god now...
