Chapter 6: Overlord Extermination
'Once I released the arrow I immediately followed it up with multiple more aiming and targeting the same spot with a few centimeters of distance.'
The first arrow landed and the other arrows followed up,
Immediately the poison took effect causing pain and immediate swelling of it's eye.
The Behemoth Falcon waking up from an unbearable pain in it's right eye,
As the swelling intensified wounds began to show and tear flesh causing blood to spurt out,
The poison would eventually hinder it's flight due to the poison attacking it's central nerves that allows it to fly smoothly.
Due to the unbearable pain it roared in fury and agony causing even the creatures far from it's vicinity to run even further away in fear.
The Behemoth Falcon's right eye eventuality exploded and making it's screams of pain continue,
Enraged it immediately scanned it's territory with it's left eye it only saw a blur but its more than enough for it to confirm that whoever shot the arrow was the thing that ran away,
immediately it began to follow it using it's powerful legs to run after the insolent creature that dare shot him,
'As I run it was immediately shown to me why this creature is deserving to be an Overlord despite it's brain slowly getting devoured by poison was still able to think and move with such great bursts of speed immediately catching up to me but this was a part of my plant.'
'While running I pivoted to an area with a hole big enough to get it to stop running for a while breaking it's momentum'
The Behemoth Falcon followed Nix's steps and immediately paid the price for it by getting it's leg stuck in a pit with spikes, as the creature lifts it's leg up Nix came with another bow and arrow aiming directly to it's left eye.
"Checkmate."
'I released the Poisoned arrow followed up with another multiple shots following it.'
but then....
WHOOOOOSHH!!!
BAAAMMMMM!!!
High Pressurized winds blew the arrows away and Nix getting sent flying to a tree creating a scene where Nix is layed on the tree top with his body being glue to the tree, the tree's top part is filled with cracks from the impact Nix received.
"BLUREGGHH!!!"
'I coughed up a liter of blood from the sheer impact of this Overlord, it can cast spells so fast that it's hard to reach to it.
From the times ive observed it I've never see it use spells, this creature... its cunning, but...'
The Behemoth Falcon immediately got off the trap and went after Nix as fast as it possibly could demanding Nix's life as payment for agony Nix gave it.
Nix immediately stood up,
"HAHAHA IS THAT ALL YOU GOT, OVERGROWN MONGOLIOD PIGEON?!"
Despite the overwhelming pain,
He stood up proud and taunted the creature urging it to go faster.
This maybe look like a death sentence but Nix already was brewing something more sinister for this Overlord...
'Tsk, my ribs are shattered and ive lost blood but this place... ive placed another trap here.
Im lucky I was propelled in a spot where I made one of my trap .'
KEEE EEEE ARRRRRRRR!!!!
The Overlord Roaring in Fury ran after Him intending to finish Nix's life.
Nix's provocation worked and it dashed at him at full speed already a few feets infront of him.
'Now-'
Nix calculated the timing as he breath and has began to enter flow, allowing adrenaline to course through his body ignoring the pain while keeping himself clear headed,
The moment He entered flow The Bird fell for another pit stumbling it's momentum once more.
'-Let's end this...'
For a moment the Overlord's focus was cut and this one second was enough for Nix to dash and land on the top of the Overlord's left eye where the Overlord's peripheral vision can't detect him,
He then bombarded this Bird's Left eye with a Dagger Laced with poison from the same source as the arrows...
