Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: Crimson Falls, Fate Awakens

The sun had just risen when Lin Xian, Shen Yue, and Lin Yuer stood at the gates of the Crimson Sect — the place they once called home.

Now, it was their enemy.

Clad in dark robes, their eyes cold and firm, the three stood like death gods before a graveyard.

"We end it today," Lin Xian said calmly.

The guards at the gate were shocked. Before they could call for help, Lin Xian waved his hand, and a wave of dark energy blasted them away.

In seconds, the three of them stormed into the inner grounds.

Alarms rang.

Elders and disciples rushed out, their faces filled with anger and fear. "You dare return, traitors?!"

"We're not returning," Lin Yuer said coldly, her sword glowing. "We've come to destroy."

The battle began.

Shen Yue summoned firestorms and lightning, her spells lighting up the sky.

Lin Yuer fought like a deadly dancer, her blade cutting through anyone who came close.

But it was Lin Xian who shocked everyone the most.

He didn't just use his own cultivation — he used the Shen Family bloodline he had absorbed from Shen Tian.

Whenever a powerful elder tried to resist, Lin Xian released the pressure of a divine bloodline. Their bodies trembled. Their attacks failed.

Even the Sect Leader at the early Soul Transformation Realm couldn't block Lin Xian's strike and died in one blow.

Then came the Ancestor — the strongest person in the sect. A man at the Peak Spirit Transformation Realm, stronger than anyone Lin Xian had ever faced.

"You think a child like you can destroy my sect?" the Ancestor growled.

Lin Xian didn't respond. He simply activated the full power of Shen Tian's bloodline, mixing it with his own techniques.

A golden flame erupted from his body.

The sky turned dark.

The earth split.

In less than ten minutes, the mighty Ancestor who had lived for hundreds of years… died under Lin Xian's blade.

By the end of the day, the Crimson Sect no longer existed.

Its buildings were burned.

Its disciples either fled or perished.

---

Later, Lin Xian sat in a tea house in a nearby city with Shen Yue and Lin Yuer. News of the Crimson Sect's destruction spread quickly.

But thanks to Lin Xian's careful planning, he had also released a rumor:

> "The Crimson Sect tried to capture Lin Xian and extract his divine bloodline for their selfish gain."

The world believed the story.

Instead of being hunted, Lin Xian became known as a poor victim who was forced to destroy his own sect to survive.

While they were resting, Shen Yue gently placed her cup down.

"Brother Xian," she said softly, "I remembered something strange in my dreams again…"

"What is it?" Lin Xian asked, looking at her gently.

"I saw people… in silver robes… descending from the sky. They called us by our real names. They said we were part of the Shen Family from the Upper Realm, and they were coming to take us back."

Lin Yuer's expression turned serious. "Do you remember when they said they'd come?"

Shen Yue nodded. "Tomorrow."

Lin Xian smiled slightly. "Then we should enjoy tonight."

The three of them stayed in a beautiful courtyard. They cooked, laughed, and drank like a real family. For the first time in a while, things felt peaceful.

---

That night, after everyone had gone to sleep, Lin Xian walked out into the garden alone.

He looked up at the stars, deep in thought.

Suddenly, a strong force surrounded him.

Before he could react, a bright blue teleportation circle lit up beneath his feet.

In a flash, he disappeared.

When Lin Xian opened his eyes, he was no longer in the courtyard.

He stood in a space filled with floating stars and clouds. It was silent, mysterious, and incredibly beautiful.

And in front of him stood a woman — more beautiful than anything he had ever seen.

Her long silver hair floated like moonlight. Her eyes were red like rubies, glowing softly in the dark. She wore a flowing robe that shimmered like the stars.

Lin Xian was stunned.

He couldn't move, speak, or even think for a moment.

The woman stepped forward, her expression calm but filled with interest. "So, you're the one who devoured the bloodline of a Son of Destiny?"

Lin Xian narrowed his eyes.

"Who are you?" he asked, finally regaining his composure.

The woman smiled. "I'm from the Upper Realm, just like the blood you carry."

She paused, then continued in a voice that seemed to echo in his soul.

"You've done something no one else dared to do. You've challenged fate. Killed a chosen one. Changed the world's balance."

She leaned in slightly.

"That makes you very… interesting."
