A torrent of temporal power surged as Roy unleashed Time Alter, pushing it to its limit.
In an instant, he vanished, reappearing between Giada and Shavliar.
Like thunderclaps, two massive booms echoed.
Without resistance, Giada and Shavliar were blasted back, disappearing from sight.
Roy ignored Giada, casually summoning hundreds of magic arrays to block her.
He flickered, chasing Shavliar mid-air, clasping his fists and smashing downward.
"Don't underestimate me!" Shavliar roared, channeling all his telekinesis into his fist.
Fist met fist, unleashing a deafening blast.
Shockwaves swept outward, scattering everything.
At that moment, three Primogenitor-level mana signatures flared around them.
A golden bird soared, summoning countless lightning bolts.
A crimson earth dragon churned underground, spewing scorching flame pillars.
At the battlefield's edge, a hundred-meter skeletal giant rose, firing black projectiles from its chest that devoured space.
"Not enough," Roy said, sparing Shavliar and drawing Gram, tapping Time Alter again.
At hundredfold speed, Roy moved blindingly fast.
In a flash, the thunderbird was bisected.
The earth split, the burrowing dragon vanishing.
Only the space-manipulating skeletal giant shrank into a spear, evading the lethal strike.
"Come on! Show me your power!" Giada gripped the spear, facing Roy.
Her Primogenitor immortality had healed her wounds.
Over a dozen Primogenitor-level Familiar Beasts morphed into gear, cloaking her in a terrifying aura.
"Interesting," Roy said, attacking with Gram, taking on both Giada and Shavliar.
Unlike past small fry, both had potent immortality, reviving after heavy blows.
More crucially, their raw strength was formidable.
With their trump cards out, they briefly stalled Roy's onslaught.
"Not bad! Fighting the strong is the real thrill!" Roy grew more excited, purple flames erupting from him.
"Those again," Giada said, retreating.
She'd felt the flames' power firsthand.
A graze wounded; a direct hit was devastating.
Without her Familiars and Primogenitor immortality, she'd have died thrice already.
"Wait!" Shavliar's eyes widened, realizing something. "The Altar of the Purple Flame?!"
Roy raised a brow. "Took you long enough. Thought you'd noticed."
"Impossible! How do you wield two Sacred Gears?!" Shavliar's shock deepened.
He finally understood why Roy's strength defied prior intel.
Sacred Gears, with multiple functions, could slay gods.
Two together multiplied their power exponentially.
That's why Roy, without Dragon Deification, could dominate him.
"Not just two," Roy said.
In Shavliar's stunned gaze, liquid metal surged around Roy.
"…Incinerate Anthem?"
"Correct. Your reward: my newest move," Roy said, chuckling.
His mana swelled, a light pillar piercing the sky.
The Altar of the Purple Flame and Incinerate Anthem hit Balance Breaker.
Black liquid merged with the Boosted Gear's crimson armor, etching dark stripes.
Purple flames formed a fiery cloud, merging into Gram, leaving flame-cloud patterns.
"Damn monster!" Shavliar gaped at Roy's triple Balance Breaker, aura surging.
His will to fight collapsed, and he fled, abandoning Giada.
A powerful suction yanked him back.
"Idiot. Forgot what your body's made of?" Roy said, manipulating Incinerate Anthem to drag Shavliar.
Raising Gram, a cold glint flashed.
Shavliar was cleaved in two.
Black-purple flames spread from the wound, engulfing him.
In moments, amid screams, Shavliar vanished.
[Congratulations on defeating Shavliar Lien. Acquired Red Entry: Transcendent Intellect]
[Transcendent Intellect (Red): Greatly boosts thinking speed, +1000 efficiency in research.]
"Now, you," Roy said, sealing Shavliar's soul with magic, turning to Giada.
"Uh, can I surrender now?" Giada, once battle-ready, gave a sheepish smile.
Roy grinned.
Boom!
[Congratulations on defeating Giada Kukulcan. Acquired Gold Entry: Familiar Armament]
[Familiar Armament (Gold): Transform Familiars into gear, gaining their abilities while boosting mana and physical prowess.]
A Gold Entry. Not bad.
Compared to Shavliar's measly Red Entry, Giada delivered.
The only pity was Roy's lack of usable Familiars.
Unlike Giada, with over twenty Primogenitor-level Familiars to skyrocket her strength, Roy's Familiar Armament was useless without them.
But that wasn't a big issue. He could use it as enhancement material.
[Entry Upgrade Successful. Acquired Gold Entry: Demonic Power of Destruction]
[Demonic Power of Destruction (Gold): Infuses mana with destructive properties, vastly increasing damage.]
"Much better," Roy said, toying with a wisp of Demonic Power of Destruction.
Unlike other Entries, its effect was singular.
That simplicity made its upgraded power immense.
Flicking a fingertip-sized mana bullet, the ground was pierced.
Peering through, the sea below bore a similar scar.
"Were you holding back?" Giada rubbed her head, approaching, surprised.
"Your Demonic Power wasn't that crazy."
"You didn't use Dragon Deification either," she added. "How much strength are you hiding?"
"No clue," Roy said vaguely.
As defeated foes grew, so did his abilities.
With the rainbow Entry [Immortal Resilience] as his foundation, he ignored strain.
Even if he overexerted and broke his body, it'd heal in a second.
Thus, Roy could freely unleash a triple Balance Breaker, even stacking Dragon Deification and Time Alter.
But that level of power risked his body and the battlefield.
Dispelling the isolation barrier, Roy eyed the shattered landscape.
Despite restraint and Senjutsu repairs, the brief fight had ravaged Gozo Island.
Without that concern, he'd have sparred Giada and Shavliar for ten more minutes.
"Let's go. Take me to the Fourth Primogenitor's ruins," Roy said, restoring the battlefield with Senjutsu and magic, regrouping with Stella and the others.
They descended to the underground chamber's depths.
"This is the Biblical God's seal," Giada said, pointing at the stone gate, explaining its nature.
"Unlike typical seals, it's more like a trial."
"To unlock it, you must enter and pass the Biblical God's tests."
"I spent three days and cleared 1%."
"Wanna try?"
"You've said that much. Of course I'll try," Roy said, inspecting the gate, then touching it.
Blinding light flared, and Roy vanished.
"Lady Giada, what now?" Ermesilda whispered, sidling up. "Should we escape while he's gone?"
Giada glanced at her. "You've been out of isolation for a while. Haven't you heard the Red Dragon Emperor's rumors?"
"Of course," Ermesilda said.
"Then you dare flee? Not scared he'll chase you to Camilla's HQ and wipe you out?" Giada said.
Ermesilda froze. "That… wouldn't happen, right? The Biblical faction's pushing peace with their three-way alliance."
Giada shook her head. "The faction pushes peace, not Roy."
"They're one most of the time, but in specific cases, they're separate."
Ermesilda fell silent.
Could they really be separate?
Recalling Roy's actions, she went quiet.
Maybe they could.
Sighing inwardly, Ermesilda felt helpless.
But Giada spoke again. "Why not consider the Red Dragon Emperor?"
"For what?" Ermesilda asked, confused.
"Your mission," Giada said, sitting, munching an apple from nowhere.
Unlike Giada's otherworldly group, local vampires split into two factions: the female-led Camilla and male-led Tepes.
For various reasons, they'd long competed in the shadows.
Recently, a Sacred Gear wielder emerged in Tepes, tipping the balance.
Camilla fell behind.
When the Fourth Primogenitor's ruins surfaced, Camilla's queen sent Ermesilda to find allies.
The three Primogenitors, including Giada, were one option; the sealed Fourth was another.
Securing either could stabilize Camilla's position.
But…
"After this fight, I see Sacred Gear wielders' potential is sky-high," Giada said.
"Instead of me sorting your internal mess, Roy's a simpler choice."
"He loves a fight. Ask him, and he'll likely agree."
"Really?" Ermesilda hesitated.
She'd seen Roy's strength.
With his help, Tepes' Sacred Gear wielder wouldn't stand a chance.
But…
"He's not a vampire. Is it okay to ask him?" Ermesilda said.
"What's wrong with that?" Giada scoffed. "You isolate yourselves, bicker over trifles, and hesitate to seek help. Keep this up, and local vampires are doomed."
Ermesilda went silent.
As Camilla's envoy, she wasn't foolish.
She was sharp.
After traveling among the Primogenitors and beyond, she knew Giada spoke truth.
Continue, and local vampires would fall behind, facing extinction.
Maybe… change was needed.
Staring at the glowing stone gate, Ermesilda's eyes hardened with resolve.
Meanwhile, inside the Fourth Primogenitor's seal…
Unaware of the outside talk, Roy stood dumbfounded before a golden-haired loli.
"You're the Biblical God?"
