Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Samsara Eye

·Chapter 33: Samsara Eye3 MayShareWhether it was because his potential hadn't fully awakened or simply due to a lack of Chakra, Izanami's first awakening didn't last a few days—it stretched into a full two weeks.

For that half-month, he lived in total darkness, like a blind man cut off from the world of light.

Anyone else would've found such a condition deeply frustrating—depressed, irritable, and helpless.

But not Izanami.

He was happy.

Because Hinata… was incredible.

She took care of him so gently, so attentively, it was as if she were the embodiment of the perfect wife—a true Yamato Nadeshiko. Every day, she brought food from home or bought fresh ingredients to cook meals tailored for him. When she worried that he might grow restless lying in bed all day, she helped him walk around the room and living area, keeping his body moving.

She even washed his hair, scrubbed his back, and made sure he was always clean and comfortable.

Whenever Team 8 had missions, Hinata handled everything. She'd play two roles: herself, and Izanami—thanks to Izayoi's shadow clone. If there were no missions, she'd either visit him in person or send the clone to stay and chat, always worried he might feel lonely.

Izanami didn't have to lift a finger. He only needed to open his mouth to eat and reach out for clothes. He lived like a pampered noble, and Hinata… enjoyed every minute of it.

After being under Izanami's care for so many years, this was her first time taking care of him, and it filled her with energy. She even dreamed about doing more—taking care of him day and night, and being praised by him afterward.

It was a good thing Hiashi hadn't witnessed all this.He might've broken into the house with fists clenched.

But even happy times must end.

After two long weeks, filled with constant Chakra secretion in his brain and a strange writhing sensation behind his eyes, everything finally quieted down.

The first stage of the Reincarnation Eye… was complete.

That day, with the curtains drawn and the door locked, Hinata gently unwrapped Izanami's bandages. Curiosity sparkled in her eyes.

"Izanami, is your Bloodline Limit… a dōjutsu?" she asked softly.

"Yes."He nodded.

"Could it be… the legendary Rinnegan? Or maybe Red Eyes—the one that can suppress the Byakugan?"

Izanami almost rolled his eyes. Why not guess the Ketsuryugan while you're at it? he thought sarcastically, but on the outside, he remained calm.

"I don't know either," he replied. "If it weren't for the sudden Chakra surge, I wouldn't have known it was a latent Bloodline Limit passed down across generations. You'll see it for yourself in a second."

"Okay, okay…"Hinata quickly unwrapped the final layers, then stepped closer and stared into his still-closed eyes.

When Izanami slowly opened them, Hinata gasped and covered her mouth.

"So… beautiful…"

In the dim light, his eyes shone like glowing pearls, radiating an ethereal blue-white light. The whites remained, but his pupils had turned sky-blue, with a glowing white corona that formed delicate radial patterns.

They were neither Sharingan, nor Byakugan, nor Rinnegan. They were something else.Something forgotten.Something godlike.

They didn't belong to the Three Great Dōjutsu. Not Red Eyes. Not Ketsuryugan.

These were… the Reincarnation Eyes.An ancient power said to rival even the Rinnegan—the dōjutsu of creation and destruction.

"Such a powerful dōjutsu… it's in a class of its own," Izanami murmured, lifting a hand to touch the edge of his right eye. But his true gaze wasn't on Hinata—it had passed beyond her, through the walls of the house, through streets, forests, cities…

His vision now blanketed the entire Land of Fire.

The Byakugan's (Gold) 80-kilometer range had once seemed astonishing. But now?

It was like comparing a baby to an elite special forces soldier. This was the difference between Kage-class and Super Kage-class.They weren't even in the same dimension.

With just his first awakening, he could see everything in the Land of Fire.

What about the second awakening? The final evolution?Just how far could this dōjutsu go?

As he pulled back his omnidirectional vision, his eyes returned to the girl leaning toward him—her innocent face flushed with emotion, her breath soft. His gaze drifted to the black mesh lining under her jacket, slightly parted—

—And then twitched.

Seriously? Built-in moral filtering?!

Yes. When Izanami had activated the Reincarnation Eye's perspective ability, hoping to indulge the fantasy every guy secretly entertained, he had been disappointed.

Instead of seeing through clothing…He saw internal organs, skeletons, meridians, and Chakra flow—in full, vivid color.

Trash.He internally scoffed.

But then he remembered—there was another Reincarnation Eye sealed on the Moon. That alone comforted him.At least he wasn't missing out on anything.

Noticing his shifting expression, Hinata tilted her head and asked, "Izanami… are you exploring the dōjutsu's powers?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah. It's not the Rinnegan or the Red Eyes. I think this is a completely new dōjutsu… or maybe one that's been lost to time."

"Then what can it do?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"Its ability is this… Rise."

Izanami extended his hand toward Hinata.

In the next moment, Hinata's body felt weightless, as if she'd suddenly broken free from gravity's grip. Like a spacecraft launching from Earth into the vastness of space, she began to float upward, her body drifting toward Izanami.

And then… chaos.

Perhaps because it was his first time using the technique, Izanami overdid it—pulling too strongly without realizing how close Hinata already was.Hinata, who stood a few centimeters shorter than him, suddenly surged forward, her floating body colliding squarely with his chest.

Crash! Both of them tumbled to the ground.

"Oww… that hurts…" a pained groan echoed through the room.

But it wasn't Hinata.Miraculously, the force that had lifted her up had also dispersed any potential impact. She was completely unharmed. The voice came from beneath her—Izanami, who had taken the full brunt of their fall.

"I-Izanami, are you okay?!" Hinata gasped, still lying atop him, her tone filled with concern.

"I'm fine… just got a bit too enthusiastic," he coughed lightly, flashing a wry smile as he sat up with her still in his arms. "That was the ability I wanted to show you."

Hinata blinked, recalling the strange force that had lifted her. "Was that… Wind Release?"

"No," he replied. "That was Attraction. And next… this is Amenotejikara."

Izanami turned his gaze toward a decorative vase sitting quietly on a shelf. He raised a finger and pointed at it.

Crash—!

The vase suddenly shot across the room, slammed into the wall, and shattered on impact.

Yet no object had touched it.No projectile. No wind.

The shards didn't fall randomly either—they hovered midair, suspended as if gravity had lost its claim. Then, like well-trained servants, they floated in formation and deposited themselves neatly into the trash can.

"Th-that's… amazing," Hinata whispered, utterly awestruck.

Izanami lowered his hand, the corners of his mouth rising ever so slightly in satisfaction.

He could finally protect himself.

The evolution from Byakugan to Reincarnation Eye had granted him far more than just vision. With the first awakening, he had unlocked:Two foundations: an enhanced farsight and perspective, now bordering on omniscience. And three abilities:Attraction (gravitational manipulation),Amenotejikara (short-range space-time displacement),And a form of wireless puppet mastery.Although it was called a wireless puppet technique, it resembled a variation of the Six Paths Techniques.Izanami could now use the Reincarnation Eye to condense Chakra and infuse it into a puppet's core, effectively giving it life—and control it from extreme distances.

These puppets could fire energy blasts using stored Chakra.

If only he possessed Yin-Yang Release—then he could create Chakra Disruption Rods and provide remote Chakra transmission to his puppets…But that would come in time.

With that thought, Izanami summoned a light screen that only he could see:

[Host: Izanami][Talent Entries:]Bloodline Limit · Reincarnation Eye (Red)Ōtsutsuki Bloodline (Red)Sage Art – Eye (Red)Byakugan Prince (Red)Six Paths Aptitude (Red)Chakra Control (Gold)Naruto Uzumaki (Purple) [+]Full Attribute Constitution (Purple) [+]Medical Genius (Blue) [+][Points: 12,391]

After his Byakugan had evolved, its talent entry had been overwritten by Reincarnation Eye, and its tier upgraded from Gold to Red—surpassing even the Ōtsutsuki Bloodline and rising to the very top.

"The ultimate dōjutsu really is in a league of its own," Izanami murmured inwardly, eyes glowing faintly with blue-white light.
