2 Years later…
It is now the year 1679 and it's been two years since they started training together or we could say started learning. Lucas and Sai have gotten more closer in the past two years.
Today will be the start of their real training since Sai is now 7 years old and Lucas is now 8 years old. They are now on their way on the training grounds where Asher was waiting for the two.
"We should hurry up or else he will get mad again." Sai said as they started walking faster to the training grounds.
Lucas nodded and hurried up as well. They are about to be late again due to oversleeping again.
As they arrived at the training grounds, they were already exhausted. They saw Asher looking at them as he smiled. That smile again that irritating smile of his they immediately know that there's something behind that smile.
"We're here…" Lucas was still panting as he talked.
Asher looked at his pocket watch and spoke. "Both of you are late by 1 minute and 23 seconds. Is there a reason why both of you are late? Oversleeping is not an excuse." Asher crossed his arms and tapped his finger waiting for their explanation.
Lucas and Sai looked at each other and were hesitant because that was the exact reason why they were late again.
"Both of you overslept again, am I right?" Asher looks at them intensely.
Sai and Lucas nodded. They can't even look at Asher because they know they're in trouble again.
Asher grabs two wooden swords and gives them to Sai and Lucas. "Now as for your punishment… Both of you need to do 300 swings by the end of the day. No slacking off, understand?" Asher said that with a smirk on his face.
"Are you serious?! 300 swings?! We are just getting started!" Sai couldn't believe it and was protesting.
Asher scoffs. "You can't do 300 swings? It's only 300 and besides it's a punishment for being late again. Your reason is not valid, so punishment won't be lifted."
"But isn't 300 too much for us? Won't that hurt our body afterwards?" Lucas said calmly.
"As I said, it's a punishment. If both of you keep complaining, I will add more. So better stop complaining and start swinging our swords! Get moving!" Asher pointed at the training grounds.
Lucas and Sai can't complain anymore and start swinging their swords up and down. Meanwhile Asher starts observing them as he walks around them as he looks at their posture.
"Sai swing properly! Lucas, fix your posture and swing harder! Both of you stop slacking off!" Asher commanded them.
As the day passed both Lucas and Sai were exhausted as they finished their task. They are both on the ground panting and they could feel their arms go numb.
Asher then stands in front of them as he crosses his arms. "Good job you two. Both of you must be exhausted by now… As a reward for doing a good job I ask the chef to cook your favorite foods. So be thankful-"
As soon as they heard that they stood up and started running inside the mansion.
"Thank you, sensei!" Lucas and Sai said as they ran.
Asher sighs and shakes his head. "Those brats never change…"
