-MIYAZAKI'S POINT OF VIEW-
;So you knew it's unexpected, huh?
:Y-yeah. I just acted that way because I can't help it...
;That's pathetic, Kaede. You really can't be honest with yourself, huh?
:I don't know, Ryouka-chan. I just can't help it!
;Or is it because of what traumatized you when we're still in the middle school?
:H-how did you know?
;Just a hunch, I guess.
-FLASHBACK-
She entered the classroom with the teacher.
The teacher caught everyone's attention, saying "Class, all eyes here. This is your new classmate. She just transferred here."
He added as he tapped her shoulder "Go introduce yourself, please."
"Y-yes. Good morning, everyone! I'm Kaede Miyazaki. I'm thirteen-year-old. Nice to meet y'all!" said she.
"Okay, you may now take your seat over there." said the teacher and then he pointed into the left corner of the classroom.
As Miyazaki sat down in her seat, a student greeted her "Good morning!"
"G-good morning!" Miyazaki replied.
A few moments later, the school bell rang and everyone went home.
A group of friend approached Miyazaki and one of them smiler and said "Come with us! Let's go to a convenient store!"
As they went to a convenient store and they sat down in a table outside, one of them said "Okay, this is our daily life, Miyazaki-chan! We'll spin a bottle of water and Whoever the tip of the bottle points to, they will pay the whole price of our expenses."
"Is that so? O-okay..." said Miyazaki.
One of them spun the bottle and the tip pointed to Miyazaki.
"W-well... I guess you're paying, Miyazaki." said another girl.
"O-okay, what do guys want?" Miyazaki asked and then she opened her wallet and all of them were amazed when they saw Miyazaki's wallet packed with a lot of money.
One of them said "I-I want a premium sushi and three chocolate mochi!"
Another girl said "Me too!" Another one added "Me as well!"
Miyazaki replied "Y-yes!"
As Miyazaki entered the convenient store, the three of them evilly smiled at Miyazaki's back.
A day passed, Miyazaki entered the classroom and sat down at her seat.
"Good morning, Miyazaki-chan." said the group of friends.
"G-good morning, everyone..." Miyazaki replied.
"Hey, do you wanna go to an arcade later?" one of them asked.
"S-sure." Miyazaki replied.
"It'll be fun!" said another girl and then she giggled.
"Okay..." said Miyazaki as she smiled.
As they went to an arcade, one of them said "Okay, as usual, we'll spin the bottle so someone will pay for the whole thing."
They spun the bottle and it once again pointed at Miyazaki.
"Too bad, Miyazaki-chan. It's you again. You can leave now if you don't want too." one of them said.
Miyazaki thought to herself "If I left, I will be bullied again and have no friends like what happened in my previous school." She said "N-no, it's fine!" and then she went to buy arcade tokens.
One of them said behind Miyazaki's back "Told you guys, she's rich. You can tell by her watch."
The three of them laughed and another one replied "I'm glad you noticed."
Another day passed. Miyazaki's walking to her school. Suddenly she heard chatter in an alley. When she peeked, she saw the group of friend. She heard them talking.
"So, where should we go later today?" a girl asked.
"I don't know. Oh wait, there's a newly opened sushi restaurant near our house." said another one.
"But I don't have money." said another one.
One of them replied "We have Miyazaki-chan, anyways."
The three of them laughed and of them replied "True! I can't believe she fell for that trick. She doesn't know that the bottle's stringed!"
The three of them once again laughed and said "She's too dumb to notice! If she had no money, she'll be useless like everyone!"
Miyazaki was shocked and then she showed herself while crying and asked "U-uhm, e-excuse me. I think, t-that's a foul... I can be useful... D-don't you guys think that's below the belt as friends...?"
One of them replied "Oh there you are! You're not our friend though. Maybe you're useful. But only with your money!"
Another one of them added "Yeah, we're not gonna be friends with you if you're not treating us! Probably, everyone thinks the same!"
Miyazaki cried in shock as she felt another heartbreaking moment.
-PRESENT-
"You need to move on, Kaede. Your world must not rotate around theirs. You should do things based on what's in your heart." said Jouho.
"That's what I'm doing! I am what I am now: the always angry, mad, and negative thinker version of Kaede because of what happened way back then!" Miyazaki shouted as she replied.
Jouho hugged Miyazaki and calmly said "Poor you, Kaede. It must be rough and hard for you. I know how you feel. You don't have to endure all of that. You can always tell someone about it and cry all you want."
Miyazaki cried and replied "I don't wanna be like this anymore, Ryouka-chan... I've always been a burden to everyone... I mean, look: I'm being a burden to you right now."
"You're not. You're just expressing your emotions and that's okay. No one should suffer just because of what someone has done to them." said Jouho.
"Ryouka-chan... I wanna be free from my traumas..." Miyazaki replied.
"I know, Kaede. I know. You're the only one who can do it. No one else. I'm just here to help. In fact, not just me. Everyone else is. You just need to look at them as friends who you can trust, not just acquaintances that you are required to communicate with." said Jouho.
"But what if the past repeated itself? I never wanted it to happen once again. You're the only person who I can trust. Dad always calls me dramatic when I cry. Mom always beats me when a single tear dropped from my eye. You really are the only one who I trust." said Miyazaki.
"You're overthinking again, Kaede. Don't think too much. Just think of the positive side." said Jouho.
"But I don't have that side." said Miyazaki.
"You do. You just don't want that side because a lot of bad things happened to you when you showed that side." said Jouho.
"I guess you're right. What shall I do?" Miyazaki asked.
Jouho replied "Here's my opinion..."
