Chapter 80 - Departure

Early morning, Raiden rubbed his bleary eyes and walked out of the room, supporting his waist.

"Ah~ I'm so tired!" Raiden stretched lazily, saying weakly.

Water, Raiden looked around thinking about finding a glass of water to drink, but the cabinet was full of alcohol. Raiden had to go to the lobby to see if there was a water dispenser or something.

"Eh? What are you two doing here?" Raiden had just walked into the lobby when he discovered Tony and Yinsen chatting there.

Tony heard Raiden voice, turned to look, and then shrugged innocently saying.

"Waiting for you."

"Ah~ Waiting for me? Well, let me have a glass of water first!" Raiden went to the water dispenser and got a glass of water.

Tony looked at Raiden back, then turned to glance at Yinsen. The two exchanged smiles, and then Tony walked up and patted Raiden shoulder, saying.

"Haven't you noticed anything?"

Raiden took a sip of water and looked at Tony suspiciously. "Noticed what?"

Tony pointed at himself, then at Yinsen, saying.

"We both went back to New York and came back again. Looks like you really didn't notice."

"Cough cough." Hearing Tony say this, Raiden hurriedly looked closely and realized it was true. Tony and Yinsen had taken off their iron suits and changed into casual wear.

"It really is. But where's your armor?" Raiden asked puzzled, after all, without the armor, how could Tony fight terrorists?

Tony pointed outside with his finger.

"I had Happy bring people on a plane. All the equipment is on the plane."

Raiden nodded, and Tony teased. "Didn't you go to get intelligence yesterday? Why it took you so long?"

"Ahem! Mm-hmm." An awkward but polite smile appeared on Raiden face.

Seeing the teasing looks from Yinsen and Tony, Raiden quickly changed the subject.

"Let's set off later, no, let's set off now. Do you have a car?"

"Yes, on the plane," Tony said, pointing towards the door.

"But before you leave, don't you want to say goodbye first?" Yinsen reminded, pointing towards the direction of the rooms.

Raiden lowered his head and frowned, hesitating for two seconds, then raised his head and said decisively.

"No need, let's set off now."

Tony and Yinsen exchanged a glance but didn't say anything more. They just pursed their lips and followed Raiden towards the door.

On a flat open space outside the small town, a medium-sized aircraft was parked, with people from the town helping to guard it.

"Mr. Stark!" Happy saw Tony from afar and quickly waved, calling out Tony name.

Tony and the other two walked over, and only then did Happy greet Raiden and Yinsen.

"Mr. Akatosh, Mr. Ho, long time no see."

"Long time no see, Happy." Raiden stepped forward and patted Happy's shoulder warmly.

"Happy, open the hatch," Tony said.

"Yes, Mr. Stark." Happy quickly took out his walkie-talkie to call the pilot to open the aircraft hatch.

The hatch slowly opened. Inside the cabin, a fully armed off-road vehicle was placed in the center. Behind the off-road vehicle was an iron rack holding the Iron Man suits. Tony took the keys to the off-road vehicle from Happy and tossed them to Raiden.

"You two drive."

"Alright." Raiden took the key, then got into the off-road vehicle with Yinsen, while Tony walked to the back of the car and started putting on his armor.

With the roar of an engine and a red figure streaking across the sky, Raiden and the other two left the small town. Happy, watching Tony and the others leave, smiled kindly at the surrounding guards then returned to the plane.

After Raiden left, the bartender who had been observing from a corner in secret returned to the bar.

The bartender came to the door and knocked. After a moment, the door opened, and Michelle walked out lazily, asking.

"Why are you knocking so early in the morning? What's up?"

"He's gone," said the bartender.

"He's gone, that's good" Michelle said, pouring herself a glass of water.

"Why did you choose two million dollars back then? That's clearly not what you really wanted!" The bartender asked, voicing his inner confusion.

Michelle took a sip of water and said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"That's two million dollars! Back then, we worked ourselves to death for so many years and couldn't earn that much, right? Besides, how many Stark Industries weapons could two million dollars buy?"

"Uh..." The bartender was silent for a moment, then hesitantly said.

"Sis, Stark Industries doesn't sell weapons anymore."

"What!" Michelle slammed the glass down on the table.

"Don't you remember? Stark Industries stopped selling weapons, and besides, why would you go out of your way to buy weapons when Tony Stark was standing right in front of you?" The bartender said with a troubled expression.

Michelle was silent for a moment. "Have they all left?"

"They've all gone far away," the bartender replied.

"Bang!"

Michelle slammed her hand on the table and said. "Isn't there a Stark plane here with us?!"

"Uh, sis, how did you know that?" The bartender asked, puzzled.

Michelle wagged her finger, then walked out the door with a confident look on her face.

The bartender slapped his forehead and helplessly followed her out.

...

In the sky, a gold and red figure streaked across the horizon like a meteor.

On the ground, a giant wolf with pale golden fur ran through the desert and beside the giant wolf a blur was teleporting.

More accurately, it was advancing at a speed close to teleportation.

"Oh! Shit!"

With a cry of surprise, a mushroom-shaped rock in the desert suddenly shattered and collapsed with a crash.

Tony flew down from the sky and exclaimed. "Raiden, how many rocks have you crashed into now? It doesn't hurt you, but it hurts me to watch."

A figure stood up from the rubble, dusting himself off and showing an embarrassed smile. Raiden had overestimated himself. No matter how he tried, he still couldn't find the right way to make any improvements to this dragon shout.

But since he couldn't die from crashing anyway, he might as well crash more to build up resistance!

"How about this, Tony." Raiden waved for Tony and Yinsen to come closer. Compared to Yinsen three-meter-tall body, Raiden and Tony looked quite small.

Raiden pulled up his sleeve, revealing a wristwatch. "Serana, open the map."

A 3D holographic map appeared before the three of them. Raiden used his finger to mark three red dots on the map and said.

"Let's split up, shall we? One person deals with one dot, and then we'll meet at this point." Raiden marked another green dot on the map.

Tony looked at the points Raiden had marked and nodded. Yinsen let out a growling sound from his mouth, also nodding. Yinsen transformation time was still too short, which meant he couldn't speak freely in his beast form yet.

After obtaining Tony and Yinsen agreement, Raiden playfully saluted them and then disappeared from their sight.

Tony gazed at the mushroom rocks in the distance, collapsing one after another, let out a slight sigh, then waved goodbye to Yinsen before flying off in one direction.

Yinsen watched the departing figures of Raiden and Tony, a hint of bloodlust welling up in his eyes, and then he vanished into the desert.
