The winter sunlight seeped through the gaps in the curtains of Cecilia's study, dancing between the piles of documents and trade route maps spread out on Cecilia's desk. Cecilia was seriously writing something on the pile of documents on her desk. She put the documents that had been checked elsewhere, then took another document when she finished with one.
In the room, there was only the sound of the scratching of a pen until the sound of rapid footsteps made Cecilia stop writing.
Not long after, Cecilia heard a knock on her door.
"Your Highness, Lord Lisbeth requests to see you."
The guard outside informed her. Lord Lisbeth was the minister of construction in the Magenta Kingdom. He did not have full authority in building trade routes. However, after Cecilia became busier, Lord Lisbeth was assigned to help supervise the construction when Cecilia could not do so.
Cecilia put away her pen, then replied for the guard to let the man in to see her.
