Chapter 70 - Chapter 70: The Next Step: The Three-Way Cohabitation Incident

The next morning.

A silver-haired girl, soft like a kitten, lay on top of Kuzeha's chest. Her delicate face was nestled against his body, occasionally giving it playful licks. Then, she lifted her head to look at Kuzeha, who was still asleep, and let out a faint sigh of relief.

Last night, Kuzeha had said not to launch a night raid.

So in the morning—it didn't count as a night raid, right?

Sora seized the opportunity. As the sky began to lighten, she slipped into Kuzeha's room.

This time, she was no longer satisfied with simply curling up in his arms.

In the past, all of her actions were limited to the possessiveness of a little sister.

Because Sora had been afraid—afraid that if she crossed the line, Kuzeha would dislike her, maybe even distance himself.

So she always held back her impulses.

Until recently—during the galgame battle—she saw a glimmer of hope.

Although she'd been crushed twice by Yuki, the moments she'd spent with Kuzeha were real!

Whether she was his real sister or adopted sister, Kuzeha had shown no resistance.

In fact, he seemed to enjoy it.

That meant—whether it was her, Akiko, or Yuki—they were all starting from the same line!

After thinking it over all night, Sora understood.

This wasn't a battle of elimination.

You didn't need to defeat everyone else to win.

It was a race.

The finish line was right there. Everyone could cross it!

She was sure Yuki—despite being Kuzeha's real sister—had already confirmed his stance.

Maybe… they'd already made real progress!

After all, both she and Akiko had seen that woman sleeping with Kuzeha wearing silver bracelets...

"She just got a head start, that's all!"

Sora told herself.

If Yuki could do it, then she, Sora, certainly wouldn't fall behind!

So she chose the lively morning and began her clumsy attempt—until a large hand landed on her head.

Sora's body stiffened.

She straightened up, nervously looking at Kuzeha.

"Yuu, you're already up?"

Kuzeha gave her a helpless look.

Her movements had been so rough, he would've had to be dead asleep not to wake up.

Besides—it was already broad daylight.

More importantly, he'd just heard the door open.

Judging by the footsteps, it was Sakura!

That girl definitely saw it.

The atmosphere instantly turned chaotic.

Stunned and flustered, Sakura gently closed the door again.

Kuzeha knew he couldn't go back to sleep now.

Good thing it was Sakura.

If Akiko had seen this, the scene would've exploded—worse than any soap opera reveal.

"Get up already."

Kuzeha pinched Sora's soft cheek and headed to the bathroom.

Sora, who had been tense, finally let out a sigh of relief.

"Yu didn't say anything..."

A bit of joy crept into her heart.

That meant—her guess was right.

Kuzeha wasn't going to reject her because of their relationship.

"Too bad... I didn't manage to..."

Sora bit her lip, eyes flashing with a hint of regret.

It was her first time trying, and her technique had just been too lacking.

Just as she sat on Kuzeha's bed, reviewing and reflecting, the door opened.

Already dressed in her school uniform, Akiko had come to say goodbye to Kuzeha.

And the first thing she saw was Sora.

Her beautiful eyes widened slightly.

"You... didn't he say no night raids?"

Sora stretched out her slender legs from beneath her nightdress, her bare feet stepping onto the wooden floor.

She walked up to Akiko and said matter-of-factly,

"That's why I came in the morning."

The words hit Akiko like a shockwave.

...

Too sneaky!

Completely undefendable!

Sora hugged her black-and-white bunny plush and curved her pink lips into a smile.

"Akiko, just go to school with peace of mind. I'll work hard for both of us!"

Akiko took another critical hit, nearly in tears.

One of them goes to the same school as Kuzeha.

The other lives with him.

And she?

She has to go to school and can only come home once a week.

How is she supposed to win?!

Forget Shuchi'in Academy—maybe she shouldn't even go!

Looking at her schoolbag, Akiko seriously considered dropping out.

After breakfast, Kuzeha and Sakura headed to school.

Kuzeha mentally reviewed the process of creating a Skywinged.

Even though it was his first time, the progress was far faster than expected.

Just half a night, and the massive energy had already condensed into an essence—vaguely forming a humanoid shape.

Kuzeha estimated it would be complete by the end of the week.

Walking beside him, Sakura's pale fingers twisted anxiously.

She couldn't forget what she'd seen that morning.

"Sora actually did that to Kuze-nii..."

Raised in an orphanage, Sakura had always known—once puberty hit, most girls developed special feelings for Kuzeha.

She was one of them.

But all the girls kept those feelings buried beneath the role of being his sisters.

Even Akiko, Sora, and Yuki—at most, they just wanted more of his love.

Sakura had thought that this mutual restraint would last for years.

But she never expected Sora to make the first move.

"Was Kuze-nii awake at the time?"

"Does Kuze-nii know how Sora feels?"

Sakura wrestled with these thoughts, unsure what she even wanted the answers to be.

But one thing was clear—beyond the shock, she now felt a sense of urgency.

That urgency drove her to think and feel things she'd never dared to before.

It filled her with a complicated anticipation.

"Sakura, your hair ribbon..."

Kuzeha's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

The next moment, he leaned in.

His breath brushed her face as he reached out and tied her loosened ribbon.

What used to be a simple gesture now stirred something more.

Especially the rapid pounding in her chest—like a startled deer.

"Kuze-nii... I-I'm heading to class first."

Sakura bit her lip, bowed slightly, and walked toward the classroom building.

"Tsk, having a cute and gentle little sister must be nice, huh?"

A familiar voice called out beside him.

Kuzeha turned to see Hiratsuka Shizuka stepping out of an Aston Martin.

Her petite blazer hugged her curves, and her pencil pants emphasized her long, slender legs.

Leaning against the car hood—she was the perfect fusion of beauty and machine.

Except...

Kuzeha's gaze dropped unconsciously to the area below her collarbone.

"Shizuka-chan must be jealous that Sakura has a brother like me~"

he teased.

Shizuka clicked her tongue.

"I don't need a brother to live well!"

"Is that so..."

Kuzeha grinned slyly.

Noticing his gaze, Shizuka's heart skipped a beat.

She suddenly felt embarrassed.

"What are you looking at..."

She instinctively looked down—only to realize she'd forgotten to button one of her buttons. A sliver of fair skin peeked through.

A flicker of rare shyness crossed her face.

"Ahem... a mature woman doesn't mind the foolishness of a teenager..."

She coughed lightly.

Before she could react, the boy in front of her had already reached out—and naturally buttoned her up.

Shizuka froze.

"If you had a brother like me, you wouldn't have wardrobe malfunctions in the morning,"

Kuzeha said with a chuckle as he walked away.

Even Hiratsuka Shizuka's flawless face turned red.

She bit her lip quietly.

"This brat... shamelessly taking advantage of me!"

Thinking back on what had just happened, Shizuka hissed softly.

She looked around—thankfully, not many students had noticed.

"Besides, what kind of brother goes around buttoning up his sister's blouse..."

Once her blush faded, Shizuka walked into the school like nothing had happened.

In Class 2-B

A chestnut-haired girl stood at the front, introducing herself to the class.

"I'm Yuuki Asuna. Pleased to be your classmate."

Under the stunned gazes of the students, she found a seat and sat down.

Looking out at the unfamiliar campus, her thoughts were still a little scattered.

She hadn't expected her mother to be so serious.

In just one day, she'd processed her transfer to Sobu High.

Saeko Busujima and the Kuzeha she admired were here.

Her mother's intentions were clear—she wanted Asuna to build a good relationship with Kuzeha.

From childhood, her mother, Yuuki Kyouko, had made all kinds of demands—but never once had she told her to get close to a boy.

This strange request didn't make her uncomfortable—instead, it filled her with excitement.

In the afternoon, Asuna picked up her wooden sword.

She had already contacted Busujima Saeko at lunch and submitted her club application.

Saeko had told her to come by mid-session.

Kuzeha would be there too!

Though she didn't know why she had to arrive late,

the moment she heard Kuzeha would be there—she was hyped.

"Kendo Club..."

Asuna stepped out of the classroom full of anticipation.

"Yuuki-san, are you going to the Kendo Club?"

A crisp voice called out.

Asuna turned around.

Two girls—one with long black hair, the other with short silver hair—were looking straight at her.

The black-haired one seemed familiar, probably a classmate.

"RE..."

"I'm Yuki, vice president of the student council."

"This is Anna, the president."

Asuna's eyes widened slightly in surprise.

Yuki?

Her mother had mentioned that name—the young lady of the Suou family.

But to the Yuuki family, her other identity mattered more—

Kuzeha's sister.

Asuna glanced over. She did resemble Kuzeha.

"President Anna. Vice President Yuki," she nodded.

"I was just heading to the Kendo Club."

Yuki smiled faintly.

"Perfect. We're going too. We've got business with Captain Busujima."

And so, the three girls headed off together.

Yuki quietly glanced at Asuna.

Her face, body, and aura—she was breathtaking.

And she was a Yuuki.

No wonder her arrival had shaken the whole class.

What Yuki was more curious about was the reason behind her transfer.

She hadn't attended the sword tournament herself,

but had heard the details from Nao and the others.

Apparently, this Yuuki daughter adored Kuzeha.

"Girls move fast these days... It's only been a day, and she already transferred over..."

Yuki muttered.

Anna chatted casually.

"Yuki, wasn't Kuze also in the Kendo Club?"

"Yeah..."

Yuki nodded helplessly.

After her brother saved Anna at the exchange meet,

Anna had clearly started admiring him.

All day, she kept asking about Kuzeha.

And despite her graceful image, she occasionally dropped bold comments that even made Yuki flinch.

Yuki began to wonder if this so-called Yamato Nadeshiko persona was just a front.

Asuna followed quietly, listening to their conversation.

It seemed... a lot of people here had their eyes on Kuzeha.

Soon, they reached the Kendo Club.

Club time wasn't over yet, but the room was empty.

Asuna was puzzled.

Yuki raised an eyebrow thoughtfully.

"Saeko should still be inside, right?"

Anna didn't seem surprised, but there was a hint of concern in her voice.

When they reached the inner dojo, they found Busujima Saeko.

"Saeko-senpai!"

Wearing her kendo uniform, she turned around.

Seeing Anna and Yuki with Asuna surprised her.

"President Anna, does the student council need something?"

"There's a joint charity event with Shuchi'in Academy coming up.

We're checking if the Kendo Club will participate."

Anna said kindly.

"A charity event with Shuchi'in?"

Saeko raised a brow.

"Let's discuss this inside."

She led them into her private dojo room.

"Asuna, you can go ahead and change. I prepared a uniform for you—pick one from the wardrobe."

"Thank you, Saeko-senpai!"

Asuna perked up.

She hadn't expected Saeko to be so thoughtful.

She opened the wardrobe.

A whole row of outfits appeared before her eyes.

But...

Sheer silks, glossy latex, high-cut swimsuits that dug into the skin...

Asuna was dumbfounded.

"Saeko-senpai... are you sure this is the right uniform?"
