Aaron finally had the courage to ask Katherine out for dinner, a dinner with just the two of them—not with the kids. Hopefully, she'd agree.
He'd messaged her earlier to ask, and it took 30 minutes, 36 seconds for her to respond. He was nervous when he didn't receive a response quickly and thought maybe he'd be rejected, but surprisingly, she accepted with a curt reply.

Aaron picked her up at a bus stop after the hotel street, according to what she wanted. She didn't allow him to pick her up at the hotel.
He parked his car at the restaurant, and as they walked in, he was assaulted by the warm scent of the high-end building.
