Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Danger Arrives.

The Return of the Forgotten

The grand hall of the Celestial Throne shook violently, as if the world itself was afraid of the person who had just arrived. The air became heavy, making it hard for the gods to breathe. The golden fires in the braziers flickered strangely, their flames twisting into shapes that looked like screaming faces.

 Then, he appeared.

A man wrapped in shadows so deep that they seemed to swallow the light around him. His footsteps echoed like thunder, slow and deliberate, as if each step was a challenge to the gods who stood before him. The gods felt a deep, ancient fear rising inside them—a fear they had long forgotten.

The stranger spoke, his voice filled with dark amusement.

"Stop. No one will swear loyalty to any king today."

His words slithered through the hall like a snake, carrying a power that made even the stone floor tremble.

Carel, one of the gods, glared at the intruder, his hand moving toward the sword at his side. His eyes burned with anger.

"And who the hell are you supposed to be?"

The stranger did not answer right away. Instead, he laughed—a sound like bones breaking and stars dying. He walked down the steps toward the throne, his dark cloak flowing behind him like something alive.

Akermos, another god, clenched his fists, his power crackling around him like lightning.

"Take one more step toward the throne, and I will destroy you."

But Krelious, the self-proclaimed king sitting on the obsidian throne, only smirked. His golden eyes gleamed with curiosity and cruel delight. He tapped his fingers lazily against the armrest of the throne.

 "Let him come, Akermos."

There was a tense silence. Akermos hesitated, then bowed his head in reluctant obedience.

 "As you wish, my king."

The stranger laughed again, the sound echoing through the hall like the slow tolling of a funeral bell.

"You should already know who I am, King."

Krelious leaned forward, his smile widening.

"I do. You're a Hidis—a being of pure chaos and destruction. You're Kazima."

A gasp spread through the gods. Hendi, the god of memory and history, stumbled back as if he had been struck. His voice shook with disbelief.

"It's a lie! You're supposed to be dead!"

 Kazima spread his arms mockingly.

"True. And yet, here I am."

Hendi clutched his head, as if trying to force his mind to accept something impossible.

"How?! We thought you died thirty thousand years ago—during the Battle of the Rulers against the Abyss!"

Kazima's grin turned dangerous, his eyes glowing like burning coals in the darkness.

"I was badly hurt. Weak. Almost dead… but somehow, I was saved."

He paused, letting the gods feel the weight of his words.

"A dark angel took me into the Domain of the Angels."

The moment he said it, the gods recoiled in shock. Carel's face turned pale, as if he had just heard something terrifying.

Some even said to themselves, it's Impossible.
