After the battle that left every Uchiha clan member watching with awe, they all returned to the clan grounds immediately.
On the way back, they couldn't stop talking about it. Even if the battle had gone a bit over their heads.
The early part of the fight was still manageable—their Sharingan let them follow the movements, even if they were fast.
But once those two activated their Mangekyō Sharingan, the fight entered a realm where they could understand what was happening but could never dream of replicating it.
It was like the moment their eyes changed, they became different people. The battle reached an unfathomable level.
"And Lord Yuhara's swordsmanship was terrifying. That wind-style-enhanced technique... you could feel the fear from a distance."
"Yeah, and even though it was just three movements, I doubt I could survive even the first."
"Hey, aren't you forgetting something? We should be calling him Clan Leader Yuhara now. Do you think we're even in the same league as him?"
The moment that was said, many of the Uchiha couldn't help but fall silent.
It was true. Yuhara had officially become their undisputed leader, both by right and by strength—they had to start addressing him properly.
Uchiha Sō and Uchiha Takechi walked side by side, a sight that would've been impossible not long ago.
These two had barely acknowledged each other even though they were technically kin. But now they moved in sync—on the council and in the "battle for clan leadership."
And all of it was thanks to Yuhara.
"Can't believe that kid made it this far," Uchiha Sō chuckled. "I still remember when he threatened to kill me if I didn't cooperate. Now he's our clan head."
"He only threatened you. My people? He actually fought them," Takechi laughed too, but then sighed.
"But he never went too far. Even with Fugaku, he saved him in the end."
Fugaku's Susanoo had shattered under Yuhara's attack. If Yuhara hadn't stepped in, he would've fallen straight into the fire. Even if he'd let that happen, none of them would've had the right to complain.
And yet, Yuhara had chosen to save him—his political rival, a former clan head.
"Isn't it better to follow someone like that?" Sō glanced sideways at Takechi with a light chuckle.
Takechi paused, then smiled and nodded.
Yuhara was firm, but his strength was being used to pull the clan back together. That was something they could get behind.
And more than strength, he had heart. That mattered more than anything.
After their laughter faded, Takechi's expression turned serious again. "By the way, your side handled today's security, right? Any issues?"
"Don't worry," Sō said, also lowering his voice. "We put up a barrier around the area per Clan Leader Yuhara's instructions. We even modified the jutsu."
"None of the other clansmen know the details. I also had some trusted guys using their Sharingan to monitor for anyone sneaking in with a transformation jutsu."
Takechi nodded in approval. They didn't say who exactly they were guarding against—but everyone knew.
Konoha wouldn't act first, but there were always wild cards. Even within the clan, a few didn't agree with the new direction.
Soon, everyone returned to the clan grounds.
But instead of heading home or back to their posts, they all regrouped at the Naka Shrine.
The battle might've been over, but plenty of clan matters still needed to be handled. Changing leaders was never simple.
"Yuhara-kun—no, Clan Leader."
Once everyone had taken their seats in the shrine, Fugaku was the first to stand and address Yuhara.
Though it was clear he still wasn't quite used to it—he'd been the one called "clan leader" until today.
"This is the clan's seal. From this moment on, you are the true head of the Uchiha. I leave the clan in your hands."
Yuhara looked at Fugaku—tense, a little awkward, but also deeply relieved—and nodded calmly.
He reached out and accepted the seal. And in that moment, a wave of relief washed through him.
Since the system had forcibly bound itself to him, it had taken over half a year to reach this point. Today was proof that he'd made it.
He almost wanted to complain that the "seal" wasn't a damn fan, but the emotion of the moment erased that urge completely.
Taking a deep breath, Yuhara looked up and spoke with unwavering resolve.
"Elder Takechi once told me that to earn his support, I had to agree to two things."
"I remember them clearly: First, I must protect the clan at all costs—that's my duty as leader."
"Second, I must fulfill every promise I've made. I must make the Uchiha great again!"
"Today, I swear once more—I, Uchiha Yuhara, will be the blade of the Uchiha. I will lead our clan back to greatness!"
The shrine fell silent. But every heart burned with pride.
Shisui stood and smiled. He bowed slightly.
"Greetings, Clan Leader."
Sō and Takechi followed, bowing as well.
"Greetings, Clan Leader."
Fugaku stepped back, then also bowed deeply.
"Greetings, Clan Leader."
Led by their elders, the entire gathering of Uchiha stood as one and echoed in unison—
"Greetings, Clan Leader!"
