The term "terminal" does not refer to a computer device nor is it an endpoint of a training ground.
It is a code name.
It is the centerpiece of the East Cloud Academy's management structure for Super A-class individuals: the East Cloud Terminal Protocol Group.
Here, the combat data, spiritual assessments, and ability algorithmic models of every Awakened individual are recorded.
It also determines who is qualified to face the reality behind the world.
After breaking the Omen, Fushimi Blade was allowed to enter one of the Terminal's hubs, the Observation Room - Area X9.
The walls are made of mirrors that reflect not human figures but the "paths" of Fushimi's possible futures.
One path is to become a Tokumo Swordbearer and coordinate the war effort of the entire school.

Fushimi Blade stands between the cracked mirrors and swears an oath:

"I will only draw my sword for the truth and realization that you call the 'Interference Factor.'"
This oath causes him to be labeled by the system as a "blacklisted alternate" and to automatically lose his "core member status."
However, Fushimi had no intention of retreating.
The moment the mirror wall collapsed, the terminal system automatically displayed a line of red code:

There was no turning back from this leap. It was not a mission or a battle plan, but his own personal "choice entry."
Vonk's voice came through the intercom:
"Once you enter that bridge, you will be completely removed from the university's authority and become an unmanageable 'Boundary Individual.'"
Fushimi only responded softly.
"I don't need to be managed. I just need to be able to hold my sword."

Beneath the night sky, the terminal tower of the Eastern Cloud shook slightly.
A dark shadow leapt out from the center and moved toward the edge of the Rift Realm.
Fushimi had no followers, no team.
But his sword was heavier than any organization.
He was the Black God's Blade.
He was the swordsman who cut through "the future is final."
He was the only light in that dark night still looking into the eyes of fate.
