When I used to hear people say the world is vast, I'd usually just chalk 'em down as dumb locos.
My thought was always, 'the world is a flippin' shit-hole, so who gives a damn how big it is?'
But seeing a single D-Grade Evolve casually roast the ass of the biggest demon-lookin' lizard I have ever seen in my entire life!
The same Aggressor that just gobbled up other D-Grades... Not one, not two, not even three... It ate almost a dozen damn people in a matter of mere seconds, E-Grades and D-Grades; it didn't give a damn.
Yet just one guy, one single man, had completely tumbled the bastard.
Just one guy, who didn't even give off the feeling of possessing that much more Arcane energy than the others around him.
Every dickward knows that not all D-Grade Evolves can have the same amount of the Arcane. It's just nature; no two people can ever be truly the same.
