Chapter 18 - Fight

Tsuna, who was chatting with Teacher Yoshinaga at the classroom podium, suddenly heard Shoko crying outside.

"Tsuna, you——"

Tsuna didn't care what Teacher Yoshinaga said and turned around and ran towards the door. Seeing Tsuna's hurried look, Teacher Yoshinaga also hurried out.

As soon as Tsuna ran out of the sunflower class, he saw the direction where the children were watching and also saw Shoko crying on the ground,.Two children from his class were talking on the side, so he hurried over.

When he got closer, he saw Shoko lying on the ground with footprints on her back, and her face was bleeding from the nose and mixed with tears.

"Look, that little devil is here. He must be scared now—he knows how powerful we are," the short-haired boy said as he noticed Tsuna approaching. He nudged the mushroom-headed boy beside him, and together they looked at Tsuna arrogantly.

At first, Tsuna was genuinely scared, but he rushed forward to help Shoko sit up, allowing her to lean against him.

When Shoko saw that it was Tsuna, she burst into tears and cried, "Tsuna, Tsuna, I accidentally knocked over your lunch!" Her sobs grew louder and louder.

Tsuna couldn't understand what Shoko was saying at all. But even if he could, he wouldn't have cared about the lunch.

Tsuna quickly took a tissue from his pocket and gently wiped the blood from Shoko's nose, just above her philtrum. Then he leaned forward, placing his left hand for support, and used his right hand to pinch the bridge of her nose near the nostrils, applying gentle pressure.

Teacher Yoshinaga quickly stepped out of the classroom. From her adult height, she stood at the door of the Sunflower Class and squinted slightly, spotting blood on Shoko's face as she sat beside Tsuna. Alarmed, she ran over.

Tsuna gently pressed the side of Shoko's nose, spoke comforting words, and kept checking her injuries. The skin on both knees, her left arm, palm, and left cheek was scraped.

Unfortunately, Shoko's hearing aid had also been knocked out, so she couldn't hear Tsuna's voice at all. She could only see his mouth opening and closing. Shoko wanted to turn and hug him, to cry in his arms, but she didn't dare move—both because of the pain in her body and the careful movements of Tsuna's hands.

Tsuna saw Teacher Yoshinaga running toward them. When she got close, he took a deep breath and said calmly, "Teacher Yoshinaga, please help me support Shoko." She quickly squatted down and began checking Shoko's condition.

"Shoko's nosebleed should have stopped. Here's a tissue," Tsuna said, handing an unused tissue from his pocket to Teacher Yoshinaga. He gently rubbed Shoko's head, then shifted his gaze to the buzz-cut and mushroom-headed kids.

The buzz-cut kid and the mushroom-headed kid noticed Tsuna looking at them. Both glared fiercely and mimicked wiping their necks with their left hands, just like they'd seen on TV.

At that moment, Teacher Ageo hurried over from the other direction, squatted down to check on Shoko, and quickly said to Teacher Yoshinaga, "Ah-midori, take Shoko to the infirmary first." After speaking, she reached out to take Tsuna's hand.

Teacher Yoshinaga saw him running over to confront the two kids and, worried Tsuna would get hurt fighting them alone, she hurriedly said, "Tsuna, calm down first. I'll help you handle this!"

Tsuna rushed straight toward the thin buzz-cut kid on the left. Both of them knew two teachers were nearby, so Tsuna didn't dare make a move.

As the mushroom-headed kid reacted, the buzz-cut kid had already curled up on the ground, clutching his stomach. Before he could cry out, Tsuna kicked him in the right side of his face.

Seeing this, the mushroom-headed kid struck a dynamic Superman (Ultraman) pose to defend himself. Tsuna knew Teacher Ageo would arrive soon to stop him, so he quickly raised his right foot and kicked the mushroom-headed kid in the vitals—though he controlled the strength of the kick to avoid causing serious harm.

"Tsuna!" Teacher Ageo shouted, hoping to stop Tsuna, but failed.

The mushroom-headed kid screamed, bent over, and clutched the injured spot, trying to look up at Teacher Yoshinaga. But when he looked up, Tsuna's fist struck him squarely on the bridge of his nose, sending him crashing onto his back.

Tsuna raised his left hand and wanted to punch him in the stomach, but it was suddenly caught by an adult's palm. Tsuna looked up and saw Principal Takakura looking at him with a dark face.

Teacher Ageo, who had run halfway over, and Teacher Yoshinaga, still squatting beside Shoko, both breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Principal Takakura successfully stop Tsuna. The short-haired kid and the mushroom-headed kid looked up at the principal and cried loudly. Suddenly, they realized the principal seemed much kinder than Tsuna.

Principal Takakura calmly addressed Tsuna: "Alright, Tsuna, let the teacher handle this matter."

"Okay!" Principal Takakura heard Tsuna verbally agree, but his hand was still tightly holding Tsuna's little hand.

Tsuna noticed that Principal Takakura appeared to relax and was not as vigilant as before. He acted quickly and kicked the mushroom-headed kid who was closest to them.

"Tsuna!?"

Tsuna heard the angry tone in Principal Takakura's words. He quickly assured Principal Takakura, "I understand. This is the last time."

Principal Takakura squatted down and picked up Tsuna, making him unable to move. Tsuna was speechless. Was it really necessary to do this?

Principal Takakura turned to Teacher Ageo and said, "Teacher Ageo, take these two children to the infirmary to check on their condition."

"Okay." Teacher Ageo nodded as she stepped forward to help the two students to their feet. Noticing their miserable condition, she chose not to offer words of comfort but instead held their hands. The two cried, shouting, "It hurts," while the other hand wiped the tears from their faces.

Teacher Yoshinaga also gently picked up the crying Shoko and prepared to walk to the infirmary.

At this time, Tsuna, who was in the arms of Principal Takakura, hurriedly shouted to Teacher Yoshinaga: "Teacher Yoshinaga, Shoko's hearing aid is still nearby."

"I'll pick it up. Midori, you take Shoko to the infirmary to treat her wounds." Teacher Ageo released the hands of the two crying kids, turned her head, and said to them seriously: "You follow Principal Takakura to the infirmary first."

The children present watched them leave. Tsuna became famous for this fight. At first, the children were still spreading the story that Tsuna was not at a disadvantage in fighting two people alone, and later it became more and more outrageous.

The final version became that Tsuna fought with the two people, and the two teachers present could not stop him. In the end, the boss of the Yamaguchi-gumi, Principal Takakura, took action to successfully stop him.

In the infirmary, Shoko was put on a bed by Teacher Yoshinaga. Tsuna held Shoko's hand and comforted her softly, "Shoko, bear with it, it will be over soon."

Shoko placed the hearing aid back in her left ear, clearly hearing Tsuna's words. She held Tsuna's hand tightly, tears in her eyes, and gritted her teeth as she asked Teacher Ageo to treat her abrasions.

Principal Takakura was checking the wounds of the two children, and Teacher Yoshinaga was outside calling their parents.
