Chapter 8 - Isihoga

"But then what did it do to Robert?" Kal asked.

"Robert was sitting on the bed of Siana, as I told you, which forced him to tell the truth and answer each of the questions," Ashoka replied.

"But Grandpa, it doesn't make any sense!" Liza replied.

"But why?" Ashoka continued.

"Because if Robert's father was Drunakreon, who left his village 13 years ago, and it's been more than 40 years since Drunakreon's journey, according to this, Robert should be 13 years old, but he's a teenager," Liza explained.

"Yes, your thoughts are right. But later, when Arunakreon met me, he was in shock, as he didn't know anything about karma, Enomy, or even Narkas. But his passion forced me to join him," Kal replied.

"Yet it was shocking that his village's name was 'Kritak,' which clears everything."

Scene cut to the same castle in the volcano.

An unknown Narka entered the castle hall.

"Master, I have destroyed the village of Kritak. Everything is going according to your plan," he declared.

"Good, you have done your job. Now, go and find Mt. Kalvik," the Supreme Narka King (the most powerful) ordered.

"But Master, it was Arunakreon's task," he replied.

"Don't disobey the Supreme King's order," a Narka King replied.

"And yes, Arunakreon is no more."

"What!! Who killed him? I wanted to kill that bastard Swarnakreon with my own hands. Who killed him before me?" he shouted.

Suddenly, his body was covered by a black substance.

"Don't forget, you are in front of me," the Superior Narka King warned.

"Sorry, Master. I will not do it again," he replied in pain.

"OK, just leave," the Superior Narka King said while releasing him.

"Arunakreon's killer is in that mountain," the king ordered. "So take your revenge, Krahnyte."

"OK, my master," Krahnyte replied.

Back to Robert's side

"But how?" Liza asked.

Kal was shocked, as his and Robert's village was Kritak.

"Yes, Master, our village was Kritak. But how can this name clear every doubt and answer our questions?" Kal asked.

"Yes, it's too confusing for you all, but look here," Ashoka replied, then showed the last page of the encyclopedia.

There was a poem...

I was born in Kritak

To know where I was.

I left it for good luck,

Leaving it in the collection such.

Which left me faced with tears.

Look just once!

Just a protector

Of the Rose of Throne.

"But what is it, Master?" Kal asked.

"It is the poem of Krilate, which says that Suklacharia was born in the village of Kritak," Ashoka replied.

"Yet, it can't clear our question," Robert declared.

"My child, in the poem it says that he left the village with the protection of 'The Rose of Thorn,' a cursed tool," Ashoka explained.

"Grandfather, a cursed tool?!" Liza shouted.

"What is a cursed tool?" Kal asked.

"A cursed tool is the counterpart of a divine tool, which curses the user upon use. And the Rose of Thorn is one of them. It separates an area from the rest of the world," Ashoka replied.

---

"It's the counterpart of the Book of Vasuki, the same book that Liza used to come to this mountain," Ashoka continued. "But it was cursed with a spell that caused time in that area to pass four times slower, which means 10 years in that area is equal to 40 years in the rest of the world."

"That's why Robert and Kal are teenagers!" Liza shouted.

"Yes, that's the reason," Ashoka confirmed.

"Master, does the Rose of Thorn have black petals and a red item?" Kal asked.

"Yes. Have you seen it?" Ashoka asked.

"No, no! I just guessed it."

"But there's something I just can't tell," Ashoka declared.

"What?!" everyone shouted.

"There was a secret page that was torn out from the encyclopedia, which contained the last information about this tool, only for future crosschecks."

---

"My karma type?" Liza asked.

"You haven't checked yours?" Ashoka asked.

"I didn't get time," Liza replied.

Ashoka placed the Staff of Varun on Liza's chest. A red light began to glow from it.

"Oh! Let's see," Ashoka said. "It's starting… Your karma is now neutral."

"OK, it's fine?" Liza replied.

"Did you have a different karma before, Liza?" Kal asked.

"Yes, I was positive," Liza replied.

---

"Do I have an ability like Robert?" Kal asked.

"You can have it, but not just like Robert. Let's go and check your ability," Ashoka replied.

Then they went to the Room of Orven and picked up the Eye of Brahma. After that, Ashoka placed it on a table in front of Kal.

Suddenly, a laser emerged from the Eye of Brahma and projected:

Karma → Positive

Ability → Eternal Awareness
