It didn't take long before
June's sharp golden eyes tracked the sky, narrowing as two massive shadows swept overhead.
Wyverns. Big ones. Level 17.
They circled lazily at first, wings slicing the clouds like scythes, their long necks craning down to scan the ruined ground below. Even from a distance, June could see the jagged black claws, the rows of jagged teeth, the faint glow of mana condensing in their throats.
He exhaled slowly.
No hesitation.
"Mana Art: Dragon Heart."
The world ignited inside his chest. Mana slammed through his veins like molten steel, roaring through every nerve ending. His muscles screamed under the force, his vision sharpened to a blade's edge.
And then June shot forward.
With a sharp burst of speed, he launched himself upward, rocketing off the shattered earth in a mana-fueled leap that left cracks spiderwebbing across the ground.
The first wyvern shrieked, its jaws opening wide as it dove to meet him.
Too slow.
