Rikuro wore his primitive clothes, put all the flint, sticks into the house, and then stored the bow drill in his plastic bag and picked up the wolf meat to put it in his bag made of hide.
"Oh what's that smell, yeesh!" He covered his nose up, because of the tangy smell of the wolf meat.
"I have to cook it or else it'll be too late and it'll rot.. I have to jerk it. Jerkies last long don't they?" He searched it up on the system, confident that he at least had read about jerkies.
『Jerky』
Jerky is a trimmed lean meat that is dehydrated to prevent spoilage and can be seasoned to varying degrees.
"Alright I need to cut the meat then dehydrate them somehow." Rikuro took his trusty flint and began cutting the meat, throwing away the parts that are unneeded.
"Now I have to dry them.. somehow. I need to jerk my meat, this'll be the first time jerking it, I don't know if it'll work." He then made a net using sticks over the campfire, he then hung the meat over the net of sticks to smoke them and dry them.
He lowered the amount of wood in the campfire to lower the temperature of the fire. "And now to just wait for about 8 hours, and to store water." He looked at the cup noodles he had.
"Goodbye Nirrin Cup Noodles, I would've eaten you if I had the ability to boil water." He clasped his hands together to pay respect for the holy grail of ACG food.
"This is the only way I can pay respect." He sniffled as he opened the cup noodles, and stored the seasonings, powder, and the oil in his plastic bag.
He then ate the bone dry noodles, a single tear fell down his cheeks. "Ok enough dramatizing eating cup noodles." He quickly chowed down on the noodles and he stored water in the cup.
"This could work, just a seal is what's left" He used the last hide to make a lid on the cup. "It's too big, but it's good enough." The hide covered the cup entirely, due to just how big the skin was.
"It looks more like a ball of skin and less of a water storage." He looked at the ball of skin in his hands that contained his water.
Since he now have water, and his jerky was getting smoked, he trained his shooting and his 『Matter Destruction』once again, until 8 hours passed.
"It should be about 2 or 3 pm right now, the forest gets dark in about 4-5 hours." He took the dried wolf jerky and covered them in leaves and put it in his hide bag with his water and his trusty flint. He took the spears and carried them.
He clasped his hands together as he thanked the riverside tent for protecting him. "You have saved me from death, thank you my ugly tent, but I have to now leave."
"It's time for me to advance, leave this place and move forward to freedom. Tatakae!" He walked over the river behind his tent and headed into the forest ahead.
"Even though I did shout Tatakae, I don't think I can fight anything here, I was just lucky with the wolves." He moved through the lush forest, moving vines and bushes out of his way.
30 minutes in his journey through the forest, he noticed that the animals in this forest are strangely bigger than their Earth counterparts.
He saw a huge silhouette and heard a huge growl. He began thinking how an animal that massive could live 'Is that a bear?? Bears are omnivores right? In this world are they predators? Because there's NO WAY, I mean NO WAY there's fish big enough for that- THAT THING!'
"Holy.. are the wolves I fought weird, because they looked like their normal sized.. I don't know anymore." He made haste, running further into the thick forest.
Hours passed, and night is near. "Leaves are abundant, a shelter is easy to make, but I don't feel safe here in this forest." He looked around noting the growls and noises of different animals.
"Wrah! OOH OOH AAAH! Wrah Wrah!!"
As he heard the sounds of what he could guess was a monkey, it slammed down in front of him. "HOLY BANANAS! Hello there George, you're not getting anything from me." He equipped his spear and pointed at the monkey in front of him. The monkey was alone and a male, Rikuro could guess it was finding a mate.
He began moving the spear erratically while making loud noises. 'Just be threatening and loud Rikuro, you are not ready to fight after you got mauled by the wolves yesterday, just.. be threatening.'
His tactic worked as the monkey left leaving him tired and anxious. "I gotta move faster!" He then started bolting through the forest to cover as much ground before the darkness engulfs the forest.
He found himself surrounded by the unnaturally tall forest. "I'm not lucky enough to find another river huh." He quickly made a lean-to and he used the wood as support.
Night came, and he took some of the tasteless wolf jerky he made. "Man, the fish tasted way better than this." As he finished eating his jerky, he went to sleep to traverse the forest once again.

Sun beams shine through the forest canopy lighting up the forest floor. Rikuro exited his lean-to and began walking once again.
His leg burned, he had forgotten the wolf bite on his leg. "How did I forget this.. crap" he tightened the makeshift bandage in his leg, it was soaked in blood.
"Just, god, just tough it out Rikuro. It will heal today, it isn't even that deep, you destroyed that wolf's teeth before it got deeper." He started walking again albeit much slower than yesterday.
As noon came, he finally found another river, although there's no clearing like his last place, it's good enough. He took the ball of skin, unwrapped it and drank the water in the cup. "It spilled a little huh, that's to be expected."
He refilled the cup in the river, after he finished refilling his water cup, he took his bandage off and washed it in the river. "God my leg looks nasty, it's not that deep but still.. nasty." He then dried his bandage and put it back on his leg.
"I think I'll stay here for a while, I have to let this leg of mine heal." He built another shelter like before and readied a campfire the best he can on the ground.
"This ground is definitely harder to make a campfire in, look at all those roots and stones." He set up his campfire once again and began spearfishing for some food.
He caught a fish, cooked it, ate it and just lay down in his tent. He stayed and repeated that schedule for 8 days until his leg healed, sometimes scaring away small animals, luckily no wolves showed up, and no huge bears came knocking on his doorstep.
