Sai Joshi was a name whispered with awe throughout the Leela Cloud Sect. At the tender age of twenty, he had already reached the peak of the Heaven Profound Realm, a feat that took most cultivators decades to achieve. His talent was undeniable, his future limitless. He was betrothed to Heera Abrol, a beauty, and Sunil Parma, his junior brother, as his closest confidant.
Life, however, has a cruel way of shattering even the most perfect illusions. But beneath the veneer of loyalty and love, a venomous plot was brewing. Heera, consumed by ambition, and , festering with envy, had secretly joined forces, their hearts set on claiming Sai's glory for themselves.
On the fateful night when Sai Joshi was to make his breakthrough, as he sat in meditative concentration, channeling the Spiritual energy, Heera and Sunil struck. Heera, with a poisoned dagger, pierced Sai Joshi's heart, while Sunil unleashed a torrent of dark energy, shattered the Sai Joshi's spiritual core.
Sai Joshi felt his heart sink as he realized their true intentions.
"Why?" he asked, bewildered.
"You were a fool to trust us, brother," Sunil hissed, his eyes gleaming with malice. And behind him stood Heera, her face an impassive mask. Heera stepped forward, her hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "You see, Sai Joshi, we've been planning this for a while. You were always too far ahead, too brilliant. The sect elders favored you. It was unbearable."
Sai Joshi's mind raced, trying to make sense of their words. "What are you saying? We're family, we're disciples of the same sect."
"Family? That's a laughable word to describe it. You were just a stepping stone, Sai Joshi," Heera spat, her eyes hardening. "With you out of the way, Sunil can take your place as the sect's most promising disciple, and I... I will be at his side, the woman who helped him achieve greatness."
Sai Joshi's heart plummeted. He had been so blind, so trusting. He had shared his dreams, his aspirations, his very life with these two, and they had been plotting his downfall all along.
"I can't believe this," Sai Joshi whispered, his voice laced with betrayal. "How could you?"
Sunil drew his sword, its polished surface reflecting the light. "Don't take it personally, Sai. It's just the way of the world. Only the strong survive."
Heera summoned her own weapon, a pair of gleaming daggers. "Goodbye, Sai Joshi. May your death pave the way for our success."
Sai Joshi knew he was no match for them both. He had been caught off guard, his guard down. But he wouldn't go down without a fight. He channeled his inner energy, preparing to defend himself. The battle was short and brutal. Sai Joshi fought with the ferocity of a cornered lion, but Heera and Sunil were relentless. They attacked in perfect synchronization, their movements fluid and deadly. Sai Joshi managed to parry some of their blows, but he was slowly being overwhelmed.
Sunil's sword pierced Sai Joshi's shoulder, sending a searing pain through his body. Heera's daggers slashed across his chest, leaving deep gashes in his flesh. Sai Joshi stumbled, his vision blurring.
"It's over, Sai Joshi," Sunil said, his voice devoid of emotion.
"Just accept your fate." Heera raised her dagger, ready to deliver the final blow. Sai Joshi closed his eyes, bracing for the end.
Betrayed and broken, Sai Joshi's life force ebbed away. As darkness enveloped him, a surge of rage and regret coursed through his veins. He couldn't understand how the two people he trusted the most could do this to him. But as his consciousness faded, a strange energy enveloped him, a force beyond his comprehension, pulling the remnants of his soul.
Sai Joshi's spirit hurtled through the blackhole, and his soul was in Sachin Joshi body.
He was shocked after first, then he believed quickly that he was reborn as Sachin Joshi. And he swears that one day he will kill both Heera, and Sunil.
Then after remembering that his body previous owner memories, he discovered that previous owner Sachin Joshi was a genius like himself in the previous life.
But suddenly his cultivation dropped, like someone cursed him, after knowing this Sai aka Sachin Joshi closed his eyes, then checked his body, with curse removing technique from his previous life. But he didn't feel any curse on him, so he started his cultivation again, after three months his cultivation didn't rise.
'Falan Scholar, 1st stage!'
Facing the Magical Testing Stone as it displayed the 5 big hurtful words, the Sachin Joshi stood expressionless, lips curled in a small self-ridiculing smile. He tightly clenched his fist and because of the strength used, his slightly sharp fingernails dug deep into the palm of his hand, bringing brief moments of pain.
"Sachin Joshi, Falan Scholar, 1st stage! Rank: Low!" Beside the Magical Testing Stone, a middle-aged man looked at the results on the monument and announced them with an indifferent voice.
Immediately after the middle-aged man finished speaking, without much surprise, the people in the square started a commotion, ridiculing him.
"1st stage? Hmmhmm, as expected. This 'genius' has once again taken a step back."
"Ahha, this piece of trash really disgraced his entire clan."
"If his father wasn't the clan leader, this kind of trash would already have been kicked out of the clan. Nobody would care about him, and there wouldn't be such a thing as leeching off the clan home."
"How could the once famous genius fall to become like this over the past few years?"
"Who knows? Maybe he did something unforgivable and caused the gods to get angry."
The ridicule and laughter directed at him came from all directions and resonated in the motionless Sachin Joshi's ears, as if piercing his heart. He could not help but breathe heavily.
He raised his head to reveal a delicate and immature face, jet black eyes glancing past the people of his age that ridiculed him as well. His lips, which were previously full of self-ridicule, turned to fill with bitterness instead.
"These people, were they always this cold? Or was it because three years ago they smiled humbly to congratulate my previous body owner, and now they wanted to take it back?" Smiling bitterly, Sachin Joshi turned around and silently walked back to the group of people. His lonesome figure seemed to be unable to fit in with the surroundings.
