Chapter 35 - CHAPTER 35

Chapter 35: Jin Bin's Chakra Control Ability

Six million dollars clean, liquid cash. Jin Bin really had been sitting on a gold mine.

Ryan Wong arched a brow at the sight before him. Impressed, but only momentarily.

With a flick of his hand, he summoned a swirling distortion in space a pocket dimension reminiscent of the Darkforce Dimension used by Cloak or the sub-space storage developed by Victor Stone (Cyborg). This was his Kamui Field, an extradimensional vault built into the folds of his consciousness.

"Handy," he murmured, as the cash disappeared into the spatial rift with a soundless whoosh. He hadn't originally considered using it for storage just tactical retreats and dimensional displacement but the versatility was growing on him.

Jin Bin stared in quiet shock, but Ryan ignored the reaction.

Instead, he turned his attention to the shimmering Red Wish Card floating in his system interface a mystic relic styled after the probability-altering powers of Scarlet Witch, combined with the transactional chaos magic found in Doctor Strange's Book of Vishanti.

He tapped "manual refresh."

FWOOSH.

A crisp hundred-thousand-dollar deduction vanished from the system's balance. Instantly, the card recharged.

He keyed in a new command:

"Chakra seeds that can give birth to chakra."

[Request acknowledged. Discount period expired. Wish Card used successfully.]

[Chakra Seed: Cost – 1 million dollars. Grants chakra to non-chakra-bearing individuals.]

"One million for a single seed?" Ryan grimaced. That was Stark Tech prices. Still, it wasn't his money. Jin Bin had paid the tab.

He confirmed the purchase.

[Remaining balance: 5.05 million dollars.]

Voom~

A glowing orb appeared in Ryan's palm, glowing blue like a compressed Tesseract fragment. It pulsed with raw chakra compact and dangerous. It reminded him of Infinity Energy Modules created by S.H.I.E.L.D. during experimental power-augmentation projects.

As he touched it, system instructions appeared in shimmering font:

[Usage: Direct ingestion.]

Before he could reflect further, there was a knock on the office door sharp and familiar. The four villains he had recently spared had returned from patching up their wounds.

"Boss, we're back," came the voice probably Bullseye, given the tone.

Ryan's brow twitched slightly. A chance had arrived.

He exchanged a look with Jin Bin, then turned toward the door.

"Come in."

Click.

The door swung open. Green Goblin, Bullseye, and the others entered in a cautious line. Their eyes quickly locked on the glowing orb in Ryan's hand hypnotized.

"Boss… what is that?" Bullseye asked, curiosity overtaking his usual coldness.

"Don't call me 'Boss,'" Ryan corrected him with a firm edge. "Call me Sir. This," he lifted the orb for emphasis, "is a Seed of Power. It grants the user abilities similar to mine."

"The same powers as you?" Green Goblin's eyes lit up. Bullseye's mouth twitched, almost grinning. They had all seen what Ryan could do dimensional teleportation, sensory suppression, binding seals stuff that even most Omega-level mutants couldn't replicate on a whim.

If they could tap into even a fraction of that power...

"My lord," Bullseye leaned forward, tone honeyed. "Who's going to receive it?"

His brain raced with combinations. If his precision throws were augmented by spatial warping, he could strike from impossible angles, hit moving targets mid-teleport, or layer his projectiles with energy distortions.

Green Goblin and the others shared his hunger. Their gazes flicked between each other, all subtly positioning themselves.

Power corrupts. But offering power? That seduces.

And Ryan Wong knew exactly how to use it.

However, they misunderstood the kind of power Ryan Wong was referring to.

They assumed it was spatial manipulation the kind he'd demonstrated earlier, similar to the Boom Tube technology used by the New Gods or the Sling Ring portals used by Masters of the Mystic Arts.

Ryan noticed their hopeful expressions and chuckled lightly.

"Of course, it's for my most loyal one—Wilson."

With a motion, he gestured to Jin Bin, now going by Wilson, to open his mouth. Then, with a graceful flick, he tossed the shimmering blue orb into Wilson's mouth.

The instant the energy entered his body, Wilson felt it not just physically, but emotionally. A warm flood swept through him, reminiscent of being cradled by his mother as a child. It was unlike anything he had experienced since his criminal life began.

Then it hit chakra.

"My lord… this… is this really Chakra!?" Wilson gasped, staring at his glowing hands. A swirling blue halo radiated outward from his palms, the energy dancing like Cyclops' optic charge but soft and controlled.

He had instinctively channeled his new energy chakra into his palms. Ryan's eyes widened slightly.

Wilson's chakra control was uncannily precise, especially for a first-time user.

"Wilson," Ryan said smoothly, "go to the ceiling."

The room grew quiet.

Wilson's eyes sparkled as his mind quickly processed the command. With a smirk, he dispersed the chakra from his palms and redirected it to the soles of his feet an instinctual shift in energy flow that mirrored Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability, though driven now by chakra adhesion rather than mutated physiology.

Before Bullseye or Green Goblin could even react, Wilson casually walked up the wall his body perfectly perpendicular to the ground.

Then, as he reached the ceiling and stepped fully upside down, his chakra flow faltered. The blue energy vanished in an instant.

SLAP!

Wilson's body dropped like a stone. He twisted mid-air channeling just enough remaining chakra to absorb some of the impact and landed hard, one knee braced to the floor, panting but unharmed.

Ryan nodded.

"Your chakra has only just formed. The volume is low and unstable. You'll need to train harder."

He opened a file on Wilson's nearby computer and began typing rapidly.

"I've written a primer how to extract chakra, and two foundational ninja techniques."

Ryan paused.

There were three basic ninjutsu in traditional shinobi arts: Clone Technique, Transformation Technique, and Substitution Technique.

But Ryan only provided instructions for Clone and Substitution.

The reason?

"The Transformation Technique is too… risky," Ryan muttered to himself. "It's a mimic power shifting appearance, like a primitive version of Mystique's shapeshifting or the Enchantress' illusions."

He remembered what such abilities could do.

In one version of the Marvel Universe, Mystique used her power to infiltrate high-level military and mutant factions. In another, Enchantress bent mortals and gods alike to her will with appearances alone.

Even in the DC multiverse, the Martian Manhunter's shapeshifting had enabled entire governments to be compromised.

Ryan wasn't about to hand that kind of capability to just anyone not in a world already crawling with espionage and hidden agendas. Power like that stayed under his sole control.

Once finished, Ryan saved the document to Wilson's terminal.

"Oh, and one more thing this stays between us. Understood? Also…"

He raised an eyebrow.

"…prepare another 10 million in cash. Immediately."

Wilson didn't even blink.

"Yes, sir." He reached for the phone and issued the order without hesitation.

Any reluctance was buried beneath the rush of newfound power coursing through his veins.

Even without using ninjutsu yet, the raw chakra had boosted every aspect of his physiology. His leaps were longer. His speed felt superhuman. His strength had jumped exponentially.

It wasn't just power it was potential.

And Wilson craved more.
