Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Memories of a Determined Little Sister

As the heated quarrel between Gojo and Sasuke unfolded before the class, tensions rose in the room like an electric storm.

Iruka-sensei, caught in the middle of the verbal chaos, tried desperately to calm the boys.

"Alright, alright, you two! This isn't a cage match! Calm down before I turn both of you into eraser-duty for a week!" Iruka's voice boomed, but it barely made a dent in the escalating energy.

Gojo crossed his arms and smirked, while Sasuke looked like a volcano about to erupt.

But amidst all the noise, there was one person who didn't seem the least bit bothered.

Uchiha Shizuka rested her chin on her palm, her eyes calmly watching the boys argue as though it were a scene from a children's play.

However, her pupils reflected something far stranger — a faint glow of blue light that no one else could see.

A small translucent blue panel floated in front of her.

[Task Complete: Public Proposal to Senju Gojo - Reward: Single Tomoe Sharingan Unlocked]

She sighed, deeply, her tiny shoulders rising and falling like a tired old soul. The weight of her memories returned like a tide.

---

Shizuka Uchiha was not just an ordinary six-year-old. In her past life, she had been a meticulous workaholic in the corporate world — someone who lived and breathed deadlines and KPIs.

Her name back then? It didn't matter. No one called her by it anyway.

Her world was one of glowing computer screens, 3 AM coffee breaks, and cubicles that smelled faintly of recycled dreams.

Her entire life had been a tightrope walk between professionalism and isolation.

She was good at her job — the best, in fact. Clients loved her, her bosses depended on her, and she never missed a target.

But what she had in productivity, she lacked in human connection.

That was, until he appeared.

An awkward, quiet guy who joined her department. Like her, he was all about work, but unlike her, he made time for small talk.

It started with sharing memes in the group chat and slowly turned into long talks after work. He didn't push, didn't pry, just existed there beside her.

She didn't even realize it when those chats became the most important part of her day.

But fate was cruel.

She learned of his death one rainy evening. He had died protecting a child from a drunk driver. A moment of kindness paid with a life.

She went to his grave, only to find it bare.

No flowers.

No visitors.

Just like he had quietly lived, he had quietly passed on.

And that... broke her.

She visited his grave every day after work. Left flowers. Talked to him.

Pretended he was still there. Her life returned to its grey shell, colder than before.

Then, one morning, she didn't wake up in her apartment. She woke up in a bed much smaller. Softer. Warmer.

Her limbs were tiny.

She screamed.

It took weeks for her to realize where — or more accurately, when — she had ended up. A world filled with chakra, shinobi, and secrets.

And more terrifying than anything else — the name she heard when her parents spoke.

"Shizuka, come eat! Sasuke is waiting."

Sasuke.

Uchiha.

Her brother.

And when she saw the elder son — her elder brother, Itachi Uchiha — something deep within her trembled.

She had seen Naruto in her past life. Not all of it, just to mid-Shippuden. Enough to know of Itachi's betrayal. The massacre. The lonely fate of Sasuke.

The thought of her family, the warmth she had barely started to enjoy, being ripped from her like a cruel prank — she refused to accept it.

She resolved then and there.

She would change fate.

Even if she had no system, no golden finger. She would forge herself into a weapon sharp enough to protect those she loved.

But fate, it seemed, had plans.

At age 3, she saw him.

A boy her age. With silver hair and a golden Sharingan. Golden.

Senju Gojo.

He was strong. So strong that Fugaku-sama, her terrifying father, praised him endlessly. She heard whispers — that Gojo was the son of her mother's sister. A cousin.

Her logical mind screamed. This was not canon. He wasn't supposed to exist.

Butterfly effect, she thought. Then she panicked.

Would he change things? Was he a threat? Or a savior?

But before she could act, another shock arrived.

She got a system.

[Welcome to the Strongest Wife System]

She blinked.

"Wife?" she had muttered.

Ignoring the term, she focused on the word that mattered: Strongest.

There were two main tasks:

Main Task: Marry Senju Gojo — Reward: Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Sub Task: Become Senju Gojo's official girlfriend — Reward: Mangekyō Sharingan

And then a smaller one appeared — the task she just completed:

Sub Task 2: Publicly Propose to Gojo in Academy — Reward: Single Tomoe Sharingan

Shizuka was speechless.

She yelled at the system.

"Are you nuts?! I don't even like him yet! What kind of regressive romcom nonsense is this?!"

But the system responded with cold indifference:

[Rejecting task permanently will result in full system shutdown. All chakra and talent enhancements will be sealed permanently.]

She clenched her tiny fists.

She didn't want to marry anyone. Certainly not for strength. Certainly not someone she didn't know.

But she wasn't ready to lose the one thing giving her an edge over Itachi.

So, she compromised.

"I'll do the tasks... but no promises. I'll observe him first. If he's worthy, fine. If not — system or no system, I'm walking away."

---

Back in the classroom, she watched Gojo and Sasuke's bickering continue.

"You could at least smile once in a while, Duck Butt," Gojo sneered.

"And you could stop acting like you own the place, albino peacock," Sasuke fired back.

Naruto, seeing the tension, jumped in like a kid who couldn't resist poking the bear.

"Whoa whoa! If we're handing out bird names, I want to be the Phoenix! Believe it!"

Iruka sighed. "You're all acting like you inhaled sugar through your noses."

Shikamaru laid his head down. "What a drag... And now we've got a love triangle in the making. Or is it a pentagon now?"

Choji munched on chips. "What's a pentagon?"

Shino adjusted his glasses. "It's a five-sided shape."

"I thought it was a jutsu."

"That's 'Pentagram Seal', you halfwit," Kiba added, glaring.

Shizuka rolled her eyes at the chaos, and her gaze drifted again to Gojo. She sighed.

"You better be worth the trouble, Senju Gojo..." she muttered.
