Chapter 17 - HIDDEN QUEST

He had offered to buy the item for her—the very thing her boyfriend refused to get. And clearly, she really needed it.

Deadly glares were being sent his way.

Solomon could sense the boyfriend's eyes burning into him.

He responded with only a slight smile.

For some reason, the other guy took it as an insult—or worse, a challenge—and continued to glare, as if daring Solomon to escalate.

Solomon ignored him completely.

He simply turned and bought the handbag for the girl at the small hourly pop-up shop nearby.

He swiped his card and paid the full amount to the seller.

The system chimed in.

Solomon glanced at the figure and sighed.

Still not enough. I need to spend more.

He was so lost in thought that he barely noticed something coming at him—until he instinctively turned and dodged.

A punch.

The girl's boyfriend had swung at him.

Solomon moved effortlessly, evading the hit with ease.

"Little brother, why are you angry?" Solomon asked, a small smile on his lips.

"Are you jealous? Do you want me to buy something for you too?"

The veins on the guy's forehead bulged.

"What the hell do you mean?! Who wants you to buy me anything?!"

He charged again, breathing heavily. But Solomon saw every move coming—he dodged them all, smoothly, effortlessly.

"Come on, anything expensive—you name it, I'll get it for you," Solomon said casually.

The boy didn't buy it. He sent several strikes at Solomon, all of which Solomon easily dodged, staying completely focused.

"I'm serious. Name it. Even if it's over $100,000—I'll get it for you," Solomon added.

The boy paused mid-attack, hesitating as he looked at Solomon. He studied him closely, suspicion flickering across his face.

"Are you sure?" the boy asked, narrowing his eyes. "You're really going to buy me whatever I want?"

Solomon didn't flinch. He simply nodded, calm and unbothered.

"Okay then," the boy said, his voice firm now. "I want the latest RAE-7. It just dropped—brand new, just hit the market. Will you get it for me?"

He stared at Solomon, waiting for the punchline, convinced this had to be a bluff or a scam.

But Solomon just smiled inwardly. Perfect. More money to spend. This is a win for me.

"Alright," he said with a slight smirk. "Let's go to the dealership. I'll get it for you."

The boy stood there, stunned. He didn't know what to believe—was Solomon bluffing, or was he really about to drop serious cash?

Still in disbelief, the boy began walking beside Solomon, leading the way toward the dealership.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend stood off to the side, frozen in shock, watching the entire situation unfold with wide eyes.

She thought she was about to witness two boys fighting over her.

Instead, her boyfriend had run off with some random guy—just because that guy offered to buy him a car.

This was news worth sharing.

Solomon, unaware of her inner thoughts, didn't realize she now believed he had stolen her boyfriend.

He followed the boy to the dealership where cars were sold.

Upon arrival, the first staff member to see them raised an eyebrow. They both looked like students, and he couldn't hide his skepticism.

"What business do two students have here?" the man asked, eyeing them doubtfully.

Solomon could sense it immediately—the man was underestimating him, assuming he couldn't afford anything in the store.

It was the boy who spoke up first.

"He's here to buy me a car. The newest model—the one that just arrived," he said, pointing toward Solomon.

The salesperson blinked, taken aback, then frowned.

"Students, if you're here to pull a prank, please leave. We don't accept jokes in our store."

"Please, I don't want you to sell me this car," Solomon said, his voice laced with arrogance. "I'd prefer someone else."

There was competition in places like this—salespeople earned bonuses based on commission, and Solomon had already formed a bad impression of the first man. He had no interest in rewarding someone who immediately judged him by appearance.

Another salesperson, noticing the tension, quickly approached.

"Good afternoon, young man. I can assist you. Just name the car you're interested in, and I'll show you the available models."

Solomon nodded, studying the new salesperson carefully. The man seemed polite and eager to help. Solomon accepted his offer and followed him without hesitation.

They walked through the dealership until they reached a section where several luxury cars were on display.

The boy's eyes lit up when he spotted the model he had been dreaming of. He rushed over, ran his hand across the glossy surface, and even kissed the hood. Then he turned to Solomon with an excited grin.

"This is the one! This is the car I want. You said you'd get it for me... will you?"

Solomon looked at the boy and called the seller over. When the seller brought his payment machine, Solomon's hand casually swiped the card.

The machine approved immediately. The seller was shocked—he hadn't expected this kid to be so wealthy.

Turning to the boy, the seller said, "This car is yours now. The man has bought it in full. You can take the car now."

The boy stood there for a moment, mouth agape, staring at Solomon. Then he ran over, bowed down, and kissed Solomon's feet.

Solomon shifted his leg, signaling for him to stop.

The boy straightened up and continued thanking him.

"Thank you so much! You actually bought me a car! I thought you were kidding when you said you'd get me one!"

Solomon smiled and said, "No problem. I promised I'd get you a car, and I did."

After the transaction was complete, they left the dealership, and the boy drove back to school with Solomon sitting in the back seat.

When the boy returned to school in his new car, his girlfriend, who was standing on the highest building, spotted him. She rushed down quickly and arrived just in time to see the car.

She was shocked. "Who bought you this car?"

The boy grinned happily. "Solomon did."

The girl felt jealous. He had gotten her an expensive handbag, but now he'd gotten this guy a very expensive car. What kind of rich master was this?
