Nora looked at him and saw him looking intently at her like he was trying read her mind. She had no clue what to tell him. Was she supposed to bluntly ask him? Who did you sing the song for? Do you have someone your heart beats for right now? She was scared to find out, scared there might actually be someone. She diverted her gaze with a glimpse of resolve in her face. "Your tattoo... What does it mean?"
Yoongi was amused at how she changed the topic "Seriously?" he chuckled at how she kept avoiding his eyes. He wondered how long she was going to act stubborn. "You remind me of a tenacious cat, cute but stubborn".
Nora looked up at him, having a height of 5'5 inches had made her always have to look up at him. Seeing his amused face looking down at her, she wished she had been more taller and could look directly to his face. She reminds him of a cat? Or maybe she reminds him of someone he once loved.
He suddenly cut off her thoughts "Its an illustration of my Father and I".
His Father? She immediately blurted her thoughts before she knew "What about your mother?"
He pursed his lips, his eyes squinted like he was thinking about it. The water reflected in his dark eyes " She left this life" he finally said. He gave her a little heartbroken smile.
Nora felt guilty after that but why didn't he have a tattoo of his Mother too or they weren't in good terms? She wanted to ask but then she noticed something. She couldn't feel the lower part of the pool. With her heart already pounding, she fearfully glanced around the pool, she noticed they were in the middle of the deepest part of the pool. This goddamn son of a bitch!!! When did he drag her here? Her brain screamed all kinds of curses. Her head pounded so badly reminding her of how suffocating the ocean sea was. She instinctively closed her eyes, her hands gripping Yoongi's arms tightly.
Seeing this, Yoongi quickly pulled her tightly towards him. He pitched her quivering jaw to get her attention. She ignored him, her eyes still tightly shut. She wanted to say something but she couldn't hear her own voice.
"The big hand represents my father's hand and the small is mine. Do you want to feel it?" Yoongi said hoping she would take the bait.
She slowly opened her eyes, subconsciously trying to glance around the pool. Yoongi quickly held her jaw and said sternly "Look at me, i didn't bring you here to admire the pool".
"I didn't ask you to bring me here" she retorted.
Yoongi let out a soft laugh "Fine, you win". His laugh echoed in the room, sounding like a soft music to her ears. "I chose the pool cause i wanted you to get used to the water first before trying to swim. You don't need to force yourself. You just have to like the water again".
"I can't help it Yoongi, i almost died?!" She felt so frustrated, the first thing she wanted to try out turned into a nightmare. Her first love turned out to be a rich celebrity that had feelings for another. Was there anything that would be normal for her.
His eyes darkened, seeing her in so much pain made his heart ache. He wanted to console her but she was getting into the entertainment industry. He didn't want her to fall apart anytime something happens. "Says the girl who single-handedly moved all the way from Norway to Korea without a single hint or plan for her future huh".
Nora looked at him, her eyebrows furrowed, lips pouted. She felt so embarrassed remembering how silly she was but she didn't regret it for a moment "Did you have to remind me of that?" her eyes blinked awkwardly.
He smiled proudly. He liked how she could easily flip her mood. "Do you want me to say more?"
"Keep it to yourself" She retorted. She annoyingly bit her lips. "You have to promise not to let me go and i will do whatever you want ".
He grinned proudly "That's my girl, come on " he slowly loosened his grip on her waist. He held her hands tightly, slowly drifting apart from her. He noticed her eyes filled with fear, he could see she was tightly holding her breath "If you're scared you would easily drown. You have to relax your shoulders."
She glanced at him, her hands entangled with his hands. She breathed in and out, trying hard to relax. He chuckled seeing how obedient she had become. "Try gliding towards me, you don't need to rush just move slowly like you want to feel the water".
She slowly treaded through the water, her eyes anywhere but Yoongi.
