[You and Yoimiya Naganohara became friends.]
Yuuto nodded, satisfied at the outcome of the encounter.
Although it did leave him with a somewhat bitter feeling at the fact that his mother would say such things about him, in the end, he at least got closer with Yoimiya Naganohara.
And it was not like his mother, Kaede said those things out of dislike, more of how a mother would grumble about her child being lonely.
'All's well that ends well I suppose.'
[In dinner, you mention some pieces of your last two days to your family, especially your encounter with Kamisato Ayaka and Yoimiya Naganohara respectively.] (Author's Note : For some odd reason, I think stating Ayaka's surname first sounds better instead of how I do so with Yoimiya.)
[All of them were shocked, some even open-mouthed at your sudden relevations. To them, you being granted a Vision was within somewhat of their expectations, however, they would have never expected you to be able to befriend Yoimiya Naganohara or Inazuma's princess, Kamisato Ayaka.]
[They are all happy with you ordering a new firework as a celebration of the fact that spring arrived for you.]
[After dinner, you polished your writing and meditate, thinking of the days still far ahead of you.]
[The next day, you once again jog, and meet Kamisato Ayaka in the early morning hours of the day in Chinju forest. You had a pleasant conversation with her. Though, you do get the urge to ask her if it's possible to be taught how to use a sword, yet, you ignore it.]
[As you returned from there and enter the city, you encounter Yoimiya Naganohara once more.]
"Yuuto-san!" Yoimiya waved as she held a closed box, taking a small peak at his face.
Yuuto waved back as per greetings, "Ah, Yoimiya-san, you're up early." He seamlessly matched steps with her as he did so.
"Yep, a festival has to have fireworks after all."
"Isn't the festival a month from now?"
She then smiled, "Yeah, but orders have been really packed lately. If we don't start now, we'd drown in all of them."
[Hearing what she said, you decided to—]
『 1. Give your opinion and then continue the conversation;
2. Now is the time to strike, don't play the waiting game! Use your charms here and now!;
3. Help out Yoimiya Naganohara with what you can. 』
'One should not be too passive nor forward.'
The first option would result in nothing, at most, maybe Yoimiya Naganohara would have just a bit more goodwill to him and then both of them would say goodbyes for the day.
It would be a waste of such a sudden encounter.
As for the second option, although Yuuto was confident in his appearance...
Doing something like that?
Yeah, no.
A man tempered by hardships would never do such things.
Without much to consider, he clicked on the third option.
[Although you never mentioned it, you took great pride in your manners, especially one whose spirit was tempered by everything life dealt to you. And so, you decided to assist Yoimiya Naganohara with what you can.]
"If that's the case... Let me help you carry the materials then."
"Don't worry, it might not look like it, but I'm quite strong."
As Yoimiya replied with a bright smile she flexed her right arm while placing her left hand on it.
She then realized something...
Wait.
How was the box in Yuuto's hands?!
Yoimiya couldn't understand how she didn't notice until her hands were already free from holding the box.
"Hm? Yoimiya-san?" Yuuto looked back at the confused Yoimiya who stopped walking.
"Ah, yeah, sorry, sorry."
Yoimiya quickly walked in pace again.
[That day, Yoimiya Naganohara realized that either Yuuto was very good at averting attention or she, herself, was too much of an airhead.]
[A month passed by just like that.]
[Early in the morning, you would jog, have a brief conversation with Kamisato Ayaka, help out Yoimiya Naganohara soon after, and then, continue on with the clan duties while still following your motto.]
[At some point, you had even started helping out with the processes of making the fireworks. You learned by watching a few times, shocking her a lot.]
"Yuuto-kun, you're amazing! You could be a pyrotechncian expert in a blink of an eye if you wanted." Yoimiya's eyes sparkled with amazement whenever she saw Yuuto help out by making fireworks orders by himself as if he had done so for many years.
"You flatter me, Yoimiya-san."
"I mean it, and besides, like I've said, no need to call me by a honorific like that, okay?"
"I'll take note of that, Yoimiya...san."
"..."
[During that time, your bond with Yoimiya Naganohara increased, and although she did have thoughts on the fact you wouldn't budge when it came to using honorifics, she let it slide.]
[Time passed.]
[The same routines, yet, always bearing different results. You understood people more and even conversed with people outside of the world you knew, listening to their stories and what was special on the days when fireworks sparkled in the night.]
[You lived more than just within the confines of your room, the Oosumi Clan's compound, and the rare escapades.]
[Just how one should live each and every day.]
[How life should be.]
[Your family, and the clan, believed that it was all thanks to the encounters with Kamisato Ayaka and mainly, Yoimiya Naganohara.]
[And perhaps... They were right, as the day after tomorrow, was the day of the festival and the Naganohara fireworks show.]
[Of course, it had already been announced that you, the Oosumi Clan's heir would have a public appearance. However, yesterday, you had received invitations by Kamisato Ayaka and Yoimiya Naganohara respectively to attend the festival with them. You decide to—]
『 1. Decline both invitations, enjoy the festival with your clan.;
2. This entire time, it was actually Inazuma's Princess who you were after! Accept Kamisato Ayaka's invitation.;
3 . Remain steadfast and strong, accept Yoimiya Naganohara's invitation.』
Yuuto looked at the system funnily.
Why couldn't he just spend the festival with all three?
From what he knew, both of the two women were good friends.
If that was the case, he would be able to just spend the festival with the both of them and formally introducing both women as his friends to his clan...
Sigh, The simulator could be rather fickle or perhaps his simulation self didn't put too much thought into it.
'Two options...'
Yuuto had already dismissed the first one. Clearly, the simulator did not value passiveness at all.
Accepting Kamisato Ayaka's invitation?
When his target was Yoimiya Naganohara?
Even if he did find Inazuma's Princess pleasant, he could do no such thing.
And so, Yuuto clicked on the third option.
Clearly, the only decision to be made.
