Beep beep beep—
Kaede wakes up in the hospital. He looks to his side and sees Yumi holding his hand while sleeping.
Lary sees him wake up and immediately calls the doctor.
Lary goes outside the room to call the doctor.
After a few minutes later,
someone enters the room and goes to check on Kaede.
Kaede hears the door open and immediately looks at it.
He sees his mother and father go to him and talk to him, asking if he is okay.
His mother has a little tear in her eyes while saying that to him.
"What happened to you?" his mother asks.
Kaede can't reply because he just woke up.
Lary arrives with a doctor, and the doctor checks Kaede to see if he is okay.
Yumi wakes up and hugs him.
"Ow ow ow."
"I'm okay now, I'm okay now," Kaede says to Yumi.
"Are you sure?" Yumi says with teary eyes.
"You've been sleeping for about 4 days. I thought you would not wake up," Yumi says to Kaede.
"4 days?? Isn't that too long?? I didn't feel that way," Kaede says.
His mother hugs him, and she is happy that her son is better now.
But Kaede suddenly remembers what happened.
"Hey Yumi, what happened to Fina?" Kaede asks.
"Fina? Who's Fina? Isn't that the girl from the other section?" Yumi replies.
Du bump—
Kaede is suddenly shocked because he remembers that they were following Shina to save her, and he remembers that he killed Fina's men and that some boy who looked like him appeared and beat him.
"Don't you remember what happened long ago?" Kaede asks.
"I remember! You got hit by a car, and the car hit you so hard that you hit your head and became unconscious," Yumi replies.
"Huh???" Kaede is confused.
"Why are my parents here?" Kaede asks.
"Huh, what do you mean? It's your parents, of course they're worried about you," Yumi replies.
While Kaede and Yumi are talking to each other,
there is a young boy watching through the door for a second and immediately leaves after a few minutes.
Kaede notices it and is curious who it was.
Kaede thinks it's strange. Yumi and his friends don't remember what happened, and they said he got hit by a truck. Kaede doesn't think that happened because what he remembers is different.
Kaede just calms himself and decides to figure out what's happening again.
So he just goes with the flow.
Meanwhile, the young boy who looks like Kaede
goes outside the hospital and looks at the window where Kaede is and murmurs to himself,
"Is this really a good thing to do?" he thought.
What happened is, when they fought, and Kaede was losing control and going to decay his body,
the young boy who looked like Kaede used the power of the Orb of Time.
The one that he used to stop Kaede.
That orb changes the event that happened,
so instead of him beating and killing those Fina's men, it didn't really happen.
Instead, he got hit by a car. That's why he is in the hospital.
That orb also prevents the young boy who looked like Kaede from completely disappearing.
When the time changed, the boy who looked like Kaede woke up in the middle of the forest where they fought, and he looked around and found no dead bodies. It's like nothing happened there.
The boy who looked like Kaede walked, trying to look for Kaede, and he saw him get hit by a car and get hospitalized.
The young boy who looked like Kaede always visited Kaede every day to see if he's okay or not.
After 4 days, Kaede wakes up, and the young boy who looked like Kaede is relieved.
But the problem is, the young boy who looked like Kaede can't go back to where he's from because he used a lot of energy and is so drained.
So he doesn't know where he will stay.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Kaede talks to his doctor and he's ready to go home, they said, because they checked him and he's already fine.
His parents are happy because he is discharged from the hospital.
They go outside the hospital and are ready to go home. When they arrive near the apartment he's living in, his parents are confused because he's going there.
So they let him because they think he needs to do something.
When Kaede goes to his room,
and Kaede tries to open it.
He looks for his key but never finds it.
A girl walks up to him and asks him, "What are you doing?"
Kaede replies, "I'm going inside but I forgot the key."
"Huh? What?" the girl is confused.
"This is my apartment! Are you trying to rob me!?" The girl screams, and Kaede is forced to go out of the apartment.
Kaede goes downstairs to his friends and his parents.
When Kaede arrives outside, he asks Yumi,
"Yumi, have you seen my keys? I think I forgot them. You have a spare, right?" Kaede asks Yumi.
"Spare? Wdym?" Yumi tilts her head and asks Kaede.
"The key to my apartment," Kaede replies.
His parents are also confused by him,
"What apartment? We have a house, right? When did you have an apartment?" his parents ask.
Kaede is speechless and knows something is definitely wrong, so instead of reacting so obviously,
he just goes with the flow again and tries to act dumb so he won't raise suspicion with his parents.
After a while, they arrive at his house.
Kaede is kinda nervous to go in because it's been a long time since he came home.
"Why don't you enter, Kaede?" his mother asks.
Kaede shakes his head and goes inside. He goes to his room and sees that it's clean and all his clothes and items are in this room.
"Brother! You're home!" a kid's voice calls from behind Kaede.
He looks back and sees a little girl trying to go up to him.
His mother sees it and says, "She really missed you, Kaede."
Kaede is speechless and doesn't know how to react because his parents say he has a little sister.
He just met his sister today, and she is about 5 years old.
Kaede just goes with the flow again.
Kaede tries to act as normal as possible.
Yumi and Lary also enter the house because they helped take care of Kaede when he was asleep. That's why his parents said they should eat dinner together.
Meanwhile, outside, the young boy who looks like Kaede looks from outside, and while he sees Kaede's mother cooking,
he drools and looks like he's very hungry.
But he can't go inside because he doesn't want to raise suspicion.
Yumi goes outside to get some fresh air for a bit while their dinner is currently cooking.
Yumi sees the young boy who looks like Kaede sitting at the side of the house, and his stomach sounds hungry.
The kid notices her and suddenly hides his face.
But Yumi hears that he is hungry, so she approaches the boy and asks him to go inside to eat.
The boy hesitates for a second, but because he's very hungry, he can't decline because he thinks he will die if he doesn't eat.
Yumi and the boy go inside together, and Kaede's mother asks,
"Who is the young boy?" Kaede's mother asks.
"I saw him outside and he's hungry. I can't just leave him there alone," Yumi replies.
Kaede's mother smiles and accepts the boy to also eat there.
After a while, the mother finally finishes cooking and they are about to eat.
"Hey, why don't you remove your hood?" Kaede's mother asks.
The boy removes his hood and they see his face clearly.
They are all speechless because the boy looks exactly like Kaede when he was a kid.
Kaede drops his spoon in his food.
He remembers the boy he fought who defeated him.
"Are you..." Kaede asks with a not-good look in his eyes and expression.
"No, does he recognize me? What should I do??" the young boy thinks.
"Isn't it—!" his mother interrupts.
"He looks like you, Kaede, doesn't he? It's very rare to see someone who looks like yourself, and he looks like you when you were in elementary school," his mother says.
The young boy sighs in relief because of that, but Kaede is still bothered by the young boy.
