Rachel quickly pulled her back and turned to the manager. "Can't we just look at clothes without buying them?"
The manager replied in a fake polite tone, "Two people looking at clothes in a store far beyond their income level might be causing trouble. I'm just protecting the rights of our other customers."
Rachel shot back, "But you have no evidence. What you do have is a clear case of discrimination against consumers. By the way, I recorded what you just said. I think that counts as evidence, right? I can submit it to the mall management."
