Samuel, a high schooler, got summoned with his classmates to another world as prophesied heroes. He expected glory, adventure, and a chance to save a kingdom. But those hopes were shattered when he discovered the truth, they were sacrifices, the gods who summoned them are no saviors, but monsters that feed on human souls. Among the victims is his little sister, dragged into the summoning by accident while she was delivering his lunch. Betrayed and marked for sacrifice, Samuel survives and 
made a deal with (Arithmos) the God of war, with its power, he now vows to destroy every god and declares to take everything from them.

This chapter contains the knowledge of the world of The Beginning of a Five Year Agony.


There are only three main power sources called (Essence).


1. Vital Essence – Drawn from the soul itself. Used for healing, strength, and physical enhancement. E.g  (True blood-Giant, Monster's)


2. Arcane Essence – The source of magic. Used for by demons, and lesser Gods.


3. Divine Essence – Rare and dangerous. Only found in gods, demigods, and their vessels. Grants supernatural abilities like time control, space manipulation, etc.


Vessels are chosen mortals who can carry the Divine Essence of a god, gaining a fragment of their power and will. But most mortals can not handle it, it burns them from the inside out, corrupting their minds.
