As time goes by, Axel decides to venture into the very depths of the forest and to hunt some more monsters with the help of Vex, his new companion.
They hunted monsters that were stronger than they were and took their remains to be sold in the market. He even took their magic stones as well. Sometimes, at night, he ate monster meat to ease his hunger. He's disgusted at first, but has gotten used to it over time, while venturing.
The bond between him and Vex grew much stronger and even helped Vex grow stronger each time.
Defeating countless monsters in different categorical elements, there were salamanders, phantoms, poisonous snakes, and even dragons.
Hours passed, and they reached a mysterious cave inside a large mountain. The cave was filled with rich minerals and ores that could sell for a high price. Axel's eyes lit up as he gazed at it.
"So many rare ores and minerals, I have to take all of them and sell them off into the market." he hurriedly picked them up and stored them in his dimensional storage.
Although it is uncommon for a kid to possess a dimensional storage as it is only accessible to a 5-star mage or higher, his skills are somewhat incalculable, well, anyway.
As Axell was collecting the ores, at the same time, Vex was feasting on monsters lurking around together with his wolf pack.
They continued they're journey until they reached a dead-end. Axel was about to give up, but he felt something unusual, so he touched the wall, and sure enough, it glowed, and runes could be found etched within the wall. It states a condition, but it is indecipherable.
As he was about to give up, he felt a surge of memory flash through him and started to speak in a muffled voice. The wall trembled, and it opened.
As he looked around, he was fascinated by the scenery and enjoyed the noise of the running water and the smell of fresh air.
"This place is filled with rare ores and the whole environment is filled with strong mana flow, this place also has green grass, trees, and streaming fresh water....what kind of place is this?" seem shock for the first time after seeing a wonderful place similar to what it seem like a paradise.
He continued his journey while looking around, being fascinated by the place, trailing his hand through the flowers, feeling their texture. He enjoys the whole place.
As he walks around, he discovers a place where it is perfect to have some tea and rest, as it is under a big tree, this tree is in the very center of this place. Its huge size is as if comparable to something..... but he feels familiarity towards this place, as if he'd been here before, as he was about to sit down.
Suddenly, he felt something.
"What is this?" clenching his chest, feeling a sudden throb. "Why do I feel like..... I know this place." he stopped, catching his breath and trying to relax, and felt this unfamiliar energy that surged throughout his body.
"I feel like being consumed by an unknown magic source....what is this?" breathing heavily, trying to understand this situation, but as he was about to collapse, a sudden flash of memory came and reminded him of a certain scene.
The memory is vivid, portraying a person, robed in majestic clothes, talking casually with someone while drinking tea.
He wore a glistening robe, with an insignia on his chest, carrying the seal of unknown power. He also has a calm demeanor and a handsome figure. The person in front of him is like a beautiful goddess, with white-pure skin, silver hair, and clothed in a ceremonial robe.
The two of them were chatting and laughing. I am lost in thought as I watch them. I question myself wanting to know who this girl is. I know this man because he is like me, but in an adult form, but this beautiful woman, I can't remember who she is.
They were conversing and exchanging thoughts and laughter until...
"I am glad that you invited me here, Selena," Smiling while holding the cup and drinking it.
