Without a second thought, I jabbed my thumb against the [YES] button.
The screen shimmered… then flashed.
A sudden jolt of electricity surged from the phone into my hand, crackling up my arm. It felt like my body was on fire. "Agh—shit!" I cried out, hurling the phone to the ground as the searing shock ripped through every part of me.
It fell on the bed with no crack, I exhaled but then my body throbbed with dull, fading pain. My chest rose and fell in short, shallow breaths.
"What the fuck...?" I gasped out, voice barely above a whisper.
I leaned against the closet, trying to make sense of what just happened. The game… the phone… what the hell did it just do?
Then her voice came from outside....
"If you don't get out from there, I'm going in to fuck you."
