Nina stepped back into her classroom, and before she even reached her desk, the room erupted with chatter.
"Did she get confessed to?"
"Who was it?"
"Was it really that shy junior?"
Nina sighed, already feeling the headache creep in. Every pair of eyes was on her, lit with curiosity and amusement. She could practically hear the rumors forming.
"Nina, what did she say? Was it a love confession?"
One of her classmates asked, leaning over a desk.
"She looked really serious when she called you out. Did you say yes?"
Another chimed in.
This was getting out of hand. Nina glanced at her Patron, who hovered beside her with a smirk. He looked far too entertained by the attention.
[They're acting like you just got proposed to. You should tell them you're already taken. By me.]
He said.
"Not helping."
Nina muttered under her breath. With no better option and no desire to explain anything real, she cleared her throat.
