Chapter 13 - Chapter 12: Tamiel's actions

Tamiel sat at one of the building's entrances, with Alain next to him, shackled and held by strong light cuffs.

"I'm sorry, boy, but you won't be lucky. You'll soon be taken to the Dark Kingdom, where they'll use you to exploit your mother's power for their own needs."

Alain panicked and was gripped by fear, he was confused by everything he had seen and heard, He had been trying to calm himself until now, but he was completely lost and helpless.

He tried to say something, but for the first time since arriving in this new world, he simply fell silent., not a single word came out.

Tamiel looked at him and laughed, he was sleepless and drained of energy, and from the outside, he looked like a completely mad man.

"Don't worry, your mother won't give up on you. If it were the other way around, maybe you'd give up sometime, but when you're responsible for someone you love so much, you never leave them. So, there's nothing to worry about," he said and kept laughing.

Suddenly, a certain warrior arrived right at the entrance where Tamiel was sitting.

It was the same warrior who had killed the infiltrator from the Dark Kingdom. He came here carrying the body.

"Lord Tamiel?" The warrior spoke to him confused, seeing how Tamiel looked.

Tamiel started sweating, but he continued laughing and then began to shout.

"You're late! All the priests have been killed! I killed them!" he shouted, laughing like a madman.

The warrior stood there with a serious look but did nothing. He looked at Tamiel with a judging and angry face.

"Not even the demons of the kingdom can do anything," he said and continued laughing, "All the guards in the building didn't know what to do either, none of you have the authority to do anything to the Judge!"

Tamiel kept laughing madly while looking at the warrior with contempt.

"I'm sorry, Lord Tamiel, but you leave me no choice," he said in a weak voice, then created a light sword from his hand and approached Tamiel.

Tamiel got scared and jumped back. He also created a light sword and tried to defend himself.

They exchanged a few light blows, and Tamiel again created a glow around him. He ran, took Alain with him, and then fled the place.

The warrior fired two laser beams at him, which Tamiel managed to dodge.

He entered the building and saw several priest bodies. The body he was holding fell from shock and despair.

Aden and Evie began approaching the center of the kingdom, realizing that all the chaos was caused by Ann's actions.

They ran toward her and found her standing there together with the armored warrior.

"Mother!" Aden shouted from afar.

She immediately turned and saw him. She suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of relief. She had just received the message that the priests held only Alain and that Aden might have been harmed by an infiltrator from the Dark Kingdom.

She jumped to him quickly, with a few tears of happiness gleaming in her eyes.

Aden immediately recalled the moment he saw her for the first time after the visit to Zaia's house, where she also had tears around her eyes.

The memory surfaced briefly and then passed as he received a strong hug from her.

"I'm glad you're okay," she said with a gentle smile.

"I'm glad you're okay," he replied immediately, "I heard you caused crazy chaos here, but I see you're talking to all the soldiers here. Did everything settle down in the end?"

"Yes, Aden, everything settled down in the end," she said and smiled at him with her calming gentle smile.

"Meet, this is Evie," Aden introduced her a few minutes after they calmed down. "Actually, she saved me when a dark warrior was about to kill me."

"Dark warrior? You met him?"

"Yes... have they told you about him?"

"Yes, he was probably the one responsible for the murder that got me caught, but now everything should be fine. I'm glad you escaped him, and I thank you for caring so much about my son," she turned to Evie and bowed sincerely.

"With pleasure," Evie said, then stepped forward a little, seeing the whole chaotic scene spread before her.

"Wow, you caused all this?"

"Yes," Ann said with regret in her eyes, "I had to make sure my sons would be okay."

Evie looked down sadly. Certain thoughts passed through her mind at that moment.

"This is really crazy, Mom, but I stand behind every decision you made, so don't worry," Aden said to her with a sincere smile. He understood how she felt and wanted to show her she did the right thing.

"So this is the power of a witch," Evie suddenly said, trying to forget the thoughts in her head at the moment.

"Yes, it's on another level from what I imagined," Aden responded.

"I wonder if our witch is on the same level."

"Your witch?"

"Yes, I guess you've already met him. He guards the border between our kingdoms."

"That old man?!" Aden asked in surprise as he remembered him.

"Yes, him, and a few other lone guards are the only ones on the border between us. They say he's enough to guard the border even if something extreme happens. All other forces are spread throughout the kingdom, especially on the border with the Dark Kingdom."

"My lady the witch," suddenly a soldier arrived and interrupted the conversation.

"What's the matter?"

"We received a message directly from the priests' building, it's for you," he said and handed her a note.

She took it and began to read:

"To Witch Ann from the Passive Element Kingdom of Gaia:We apologize for the sudden message, but you must come as soon as possible to the priests' building.A great emergency has occurred that requires your immediate presence.A crisis has happened, and the forces of darkness have murdered our leaders and kidnapped your son."
