Lyra POV
Returning back to the pack after an unsuccessful fight was always going to hit differently. By the time I arrived at Dark Knight Pack, there was no signs of soldiers anywhere.
Somethings didn't just feel alright, but it didn't meant that I should start Investigating.
I stumbled across one of the soldiers in the pack and he bowed his head in submission. "Luna."
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"We have had some guests today, but the Alpha says we should keep them safe." He said politely.
"Who are these guests?" I asked, staring at him suspiciously.
"We weren't allowed to see them. Only the Alpha knows." He said.
I sensed it within that something was off and my Instincts was never wrong.
When I opened Ezra's chamber, he was pacing around the room with his hand on his hair playing with it aggressively.
"Babe, what is the problem?" I asked.
He had stopped pacing around and was staring in my direction with a look of confusion on his face.
