The vampire raised the dagger high in the air with a shaky hand and sweat on his forehead. He looked at the prince, hoping to see a moment of compassion in the prince so he could beg him to escape the idea of living without his wrist.
But the idea of being killed by the prince for his disobedience scares him more. When the prince had no compassion or humane look, he knew he was done for good unless he obeyed the prince's order.
With every ounce of grit, he chopped off his wrist, and a huge amount of pain radiated from his missing hand. He was in so much pain he wanted to pass out, and he cried out on the ground, weeping from the pain.
The prince stared at the man, and he smiled with a menacing aura radiating around him. When he saw the chopped-off hand on the ground, he said with a faint smile, "Good job, my faithful servant."
