Chapter 154 - Chapter 154 - The Darkest Evil

Tang San's question rendered Tang Hao and the two Douluo from Sea God Island speechless. They had been hiding from each other or living abroad for a long time, with limited information and little understanding of many matters.

For a moment, everyone present looked at each other in confusion. No one could answer this simple question.

Eventually, the Sea Dragon Douluo, who had followed Poseidon to Beast City, thought for a moment and spoke.

"The inherited spirit of the Star Crown Sect is called the Star Crown. This sect has at least three titled Douluo, and its strength even surpasses that of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect."

"Then, can we recruit them to fight against Spirit Hall?"

"That's impossible. They're located in the southwest and have always remained neutral. Other than having more contact with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, I've never heard of them associating with any other forces."

"No matter how difficult it is, we must try. Spirit Hall is truly evil, and everyone wants to destroy them. I believe they won't resist a greater good."

"Alright, let's give it a try. Maybe Sect Master Ning can speak on our behalf too."

The flames of vengeance burned in Tang San's eyes. Mother, I'll soon be able to avenge you. I'll never let go of those in Spirit Hall who hurt you.

Feeling the familiar warmth from the 100,000-year-old Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone on his right leg, Tang San felt calm.

When Xu Mingxi arrived at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, she heard news that Tang San was trying to win over the Star Crown Sect and nearly burst out laughing in front of Ning Fengzhi.

"Of course, why not? We, the Star Crown Sect, are mortal enemies of Spirit Hall. It would be our honor to join the Sea God Island alliance."

Ning Fengzhi sat beside her, sipping tea, watching Xu Mingxi and Tang San shake hands and verbally agree to fight Spirit Hall together. His eyes twitched slightly.

The people from Sea God Island and the Clear Sky Sect, unaware of the real situation, might even help count the money after being sold off by Star Douluo.

Forget it. What does it have to do with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect? He couldn't afford to offend any of the three parties — Sea God Island, Spirit Hall, or the Star Crown Sect — so he might as well just enjoy the show.

"Brother Tang San, Spirit Hall is a den of villains. If they attack us in the future, you must call on us."

"Thank you, Xingchen Douluo, for your support. I've developed a few new weapons. How about I give them to everyone in the Star Crown Sect?"

"Hey, Brother Tang San, don't give away your inventions so easily. My Xingguan Sect is also not at peace. Better keep that knowledge to yourself for now."

"Yes, you're wise."

The two sides spoke cheerfully. Tang San, who had been rejected many times since arriving on the mainland, finally regained his confidence thanks to the Star Crown Sect.

He was determined to let all the major powers see Spirit Hall's true face and eradicate this evil force completely.

"But Brother Tang San, even if we unite, we're still far from being a match for Spirit Hall. You'll need to be patient for a while."

"Senior Xingchen, could you help clear up my doubts?"

"As for Spirit Hall, they have at least a dozen Titled Douluo, especially in their Elder Hall. The seven high priests there are all top-tier experts on the continent.

The Grand Priest among them is considered one of the two poles of the continent, alongside Senior Poseidon. If we want to defeat them, we need a well-prepared plan."

"That's fine, senior. Don't worry. I'll ask Senior Poseidon to take action when the time comes. The Xingguan Sect only needs to stand firm under my command."

"Right, right. Thank you very much, Brother Tang San. Now that Senior Poseidon is here, our sects, long oppressed by Spirit Hall, will be saved."

Xu Mingguang, sitting beside them, felt his younger sibling was being a bit over the top, but seeing how much she was enjoying herself, he let it go.

In Xu Mingguang's eyes, Tang San was just a minor Soul Emperor who couldn't stir up much trouble.

Xu Mingxi, who was having fun, also held herself back a little. After all, she'd been cooped up under the Star Tree for eight years and was a bit stiff.

Fortunately, Tang San didn't doubt her, only sighing again about how evil Spirit Hall truly was.

A fragile agreement was temporarily reached. Tang San left under the pretense of cultivating and returned to their small courtyard with Yang Hao and the others.

"Father, what do you think of Star Douluo and the Star Crown Sect?"

"They definitely have their own small agendas, but Spirit Hall is powerful, and cooperation among us is unavoidable."

"Father is wise, but we must be cautious of them. I won't teach them the hidden weapons I created just yet."

"Good. With those hidden weapons, we'll surely gain the upper hand on the battlefield of the Soul Master Corps."

Xu Mingxi, staying in the guest hall, carefully recalled what she had just sensed from Tang San. His soul power should only be at the level of a Soul Emperor, but he was only nineteen years old this year.

Given this progress, Tang San's cultivation speed had increased even without immortal herbs or the awakening of the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline.

This made Xu Mingxi wonder whether the Sea God had given Tang San special treatment while on Sea God Island. Otherwise, how could his cultivation be advancing so rapidly?

"Master Ning, then we will remain under the command of Sea God Island together in the future."

"Yes, I didn't expect things to develop this way, but it seems aligned with Star Douluo's intentions."

"Hehe, it's all because Spirit Hall has made too many enemies, and we have no other choice."

Three forces, three minds — no one knew whose ideas would ultimately prevail, not even Xu Mingxi could guarantee that.

Just as they were discussing cooperation to face Spirit Hall, the angel statue in the Elder Hall began to emit a holy light.

Qian Daoliu, who had been praying with closed eyes before the statue, suddenly awoke and looked at it with slight confusion.

But in the next moment, he understood why the angel statue was reacting so strongly.

He could feel a dark, evil presence entering Spirit City and approaching Spirit Hall.

Qian Daoliu rushed out of the hall. The angel wings on his back flared out, the sacred angel sword in his hand exploded with fierce light, and his gaze locked on the slowly approaching figure.

That figure was surrounded by a thick, dark, evil aura — ordinary people would drown in it and never escape if they laid eyes on it.

Other worshippers also noticed the disturbance in the sky and rushed over to stand beside Qian Daoliu, their spirits merging with their bodies as energy gathered in their hands.

They could feel an overwhelming threat from the figure whose appearance was obscured by the black aura — a threat strong enough to kill them.

Suddenly, Qian Daoliu had a flash of realization, as though he sensed something familiar in the dark aura, and he stared at the figure in horror.

"Bibi Dong? You are Bibi Dong? How did you end up like this? What's with your aura?"
