The large oak door creaked open, and the triplets stepped inside one by one.
Kael.
Ren.
Dax.
Alpha Throne stood near the desk, arms crossed, Elder Vaughn beside him. And standing to the side like she owned the world was her, Serana.
Her sharp, dark purple eyes flicked up, expecting something. Anything. A gasp. A stare. Maybe even a challenge.
But the triplets?
They barely looked at her.
Kael gave a polite nod and turned away.
Ren's golden eyes swept over her once and landed on the window.
Dax did not even blink in her direction.
Serana's jaw tightened.
How dare they ignore me?
Alpha Thorne's eyes darted to the doorway.
"Where is she?" he muttered, pacing.
Elder Vaughn lifted a brow. "You mean Aria?"
"Of course I mean Aria!" Thorne snapped. "She is never late. Not like this."
Vaughn gave a small smile. "Well, she is not a pup anymore, nor is she the Omega you knew before, and she just transformed, Alpha."
The Alpha scowled. "Still...!"
