Eunah's Estate – Secret Surveillance Room
Eunah walked into a marble-walled chamber with a dozen screens.
One of her men approached.
"Ma'am… someone's digging into your old records. An IP traced to—Yosan."
She stared at the screen… and smiled.
"Oh Tae," she whispered.
"You always liked chess. But this isn't a game anymore."
She clicked the mouse.
One of the screens switched to a view of Jungwon — getting off a bus near the outskirts of the city. Alone. Hood over his head. Backpack slung over one shoulder.
She tilted her head.
"…And the pawn enters the board."
She turned to her guards.
"Bring him in too. Let's see what happens… when they're both in the cage."
Yosan Company – War Room
Sechan burst through the doors of Tae's private surveillance room, phone in hand, eyes wide with disbelief and fury.
"Tae," he growled. "She took him. She took Jungwon."
Tae slowly turned from the screen, face blank.
"What?"
"Your psycho ex didn't stop at Kwon," Sechan said, his voice trembling with rage. "Jungwon's signal went dead an hour ago. He was near Eunah's outer property. You told me no one knew he was coming—"
"I didn't think she'd go that far," Tae whispered. "Not him."
But something changed in his eyes — the dark swirl of something long buried. A hunger for violence, sharp and primal.
He stepped away from the monitors, removing his watch, unbuttoning his suit cuffs like someone about to commit murder in style.
"Tae…" Sechan watched him carefully.
The CEO glanced up with a terrifying calm in his voice.
"She took them both. That means she wants to die."
His fingers twitched. His lips curved.
"I've tried to play nice. I've tried to be rational. But now…" he leaned on the table, eyes wild.
"Now I'm going to rip the world apart if I have to. Brick by brick, body by body."
A tense silence.
Then Sechan's voice dropped, colder than ever.
"I don't care what she meant to you."
Tae flinched.
Sechan stepped forward, fists clenched. "I don't care what kind of deal you had with her. I don't care how long she kept your bed warm or if she bled for you."
His voice cracked with fury.
"She took my Jungwon. And if you think I'm going to wait around while you spiral like a goddamn tragedy villain—"
He slammed his fist into the glass table, shattering it.
"—you're dead wrong."
The two men stared at each other like monsters staring into mirrors.
Then Tae smiled — a terrifying, crooked smile.
"Good," he said softly. "Let's become monsters together."
Unknown Estate – Underground Cell
Jungwon was cold, wet, and confused.
He woke up chained to a wall in a dim cell beside another man — familiar even in the dark.
"Kwon?" his voice cracked.
Kwon lifted his head slowly, eyes bloodshot, confused. "Jungwon?"
They stared at each other, shock slowly morphing into something worse — dread.
"You shouldn't be here," Kwon whispered.
Jungwon laughed bitterly, tears stinging. "Neither should you."
Kwon crawled closer, rattling his chains. "Did Tae send you?"
"I came on my own."
Kwon swallowed hard. "She's dangerous."
"I don't care," Jungwon said, gripping his arm. "I was more scared when you disappeared than I've ever been in my life."
They looked at each other, something unspoken burning between them.
L
But outside the cell, a figure watched from the shadows.
Eunah.
She smiled faintly, one hand resting on the security glass.
"So many hearts tangled in one boy," she whispered. "Let's see which of them breaks first."
Yosan Helicopter – En Route to Eunah's Estate
Tae sat strapped in, silent, his pistol in his lap.
Sechan stood near the open door, staring at the wind tearing through the sky.
"I used to think love was weakness," Sechan said quietly. "So I left Jungwon behind. I thought I'd protect him by staying away."
Tae didn't look at him.
"I thought I'd protect Kwon by locking him out of my heart," Tae said.
Their eyes met in the flicker of cabin light.
"Well," Sechan said, loading his gun, "we both failed."
Tae smirked. "Let's make up for it with blood."
The helicopter descended toward the cliffs of Eunah's estate, hidden deep in the mountains.
They weren't coming to negotiate.
They were coming to take back what was stolen.
And leave fire in their wake.
EUNAH'S ESTATE – UNDERGROUND
The lights flickered as the storm outside raged. Somewhere above, thunder cracked. But down here, beneath layers of reinforced concrete, the real storm brewed in silence.
Jungwon sat beside Kwon, his fingers twitching, jaw tight. Every now and then, he'd look at the chains binding them to the wall, calculating, searching for weakness.
"You shouldn't have come for me," Kwon said softly.
Jungwon turned his head sharply. "I didn't come for you. I came because you disappeared — and I…" He hesitated, then exhaled like the words tasted like blood.
"I panicked. I felt like I was losing someone all over again."
Kwon's lips trembled. "You're talking like you lost someone before."
Jungwon looked at him — really looked.
"I did. You."
The silence between them was deafening.
But just then, a soft buzz crackled from the hidden intercoms overhead.
"Aww, how touching," Eunah's voice cooed. "But don't get too emotional. You'll need your energy for what comes next."
Jungwon stiffened. Kwon's face hardened.
"You'll get a visitor soon," she added, voice low and sugary sweet. "He has questions. Answer them wrong… and well—let's just say fingers break easily."
EUNAH'S CONTROL ROOM
"She knows," Tae muttered, watching the monitors from the security van now parked under dense pine trees near the estate. "She's ready for war."
Sechan paced like a caged wolf, gripping a combat knife in his hand.
"I don't care. We get them out. Burn the rest."
Tae's eyes didn't leave the screen as he zoomed in on Jungwon's pale face.
"You're shaking."
Sechan scoffed. "I'm furious."
"No." Tae turned to him. "You're scared. Not of dying. But of seeing him broken."
The knife in Sechan's hand trembled. "He's all I ever thought about, you know. Every day. Every time I saw someone smile like him. But I stayed away because I thought I wasn't good enough."
Tae's voice dropped dark. "You were wrong. And I was worse. I let Kwon believe I moved on. I let him think I was calm." His voice cracked — just slightly. "But I've never stopped wanting him. And now that she has him—"
His hand slammed the metal wall.
"I'll show her what the real Tae looks like."
INSIDE THE ESTATE – INTERROGATION ROOM
Kwon was dragged from the cell. His wrists bled from the chains. He was shoved into a cold room with a single chair.
A man stood there. Masked. Holding pliers.
Jungwon screamed from the next cell, the sounds muffled.
But before the man could touch Kwon—
BOOM.
The lights flickered. Screams echoed through the hallway. Alarms blared.
Another explosion rocked the floor.
Then gunfire.
Then footsteps.
And then — the door burst open.
A shadow stepped through the smoke.
Tae.
Blood on his sleeve. Eyes like death. He shot the masked man without blinking.
"Kwon."
Kwon's legs gave out, collapsing into Tae's arms.
He was trembling. Bruised. But breathing.
"You came…" he whispered.
Tae held his face with shaking hands.
"I always will."
SOMEWHERE ELSE – DARK CORRIDOR
Sechan stormed through the halls, cutting through Eunah's guards like a ghost.
He turned a corner—gun aimed—only to freeze.
Jungwon.
Sitting on the floor, chained, wide-eyed.
Their eyes locked — years crashing into seconds.
"Sechan?"
Sechan dropped his gun. "Jungwon…"
His voice broke. He ran forward, falling to his knees and pulling him close, uncaring of the blood, the chains, the chaos.
"I'm here. I'm here. I'm sorry I left. I'm sorry I never told you how I felt. But you're not dying in this hell. Not on my watch."
Jungwon's lips trembled. "I thought I'd never see you again…"
Sechan leaned in, resting his forehead to Jungwon's.
"You'll never have to wonder again."
EUNAH'S ESCAPE TUNNEL – NIGHT
Eunah ran through the secret passage, barefoot, her silk gown drenched in rain and blood.
She looked back at the burning house behind her. Smoke filled the sky.
"I'll get him back," she whispered, eyes gleaming. "They think this is over, but it's just beginning."
From her hidden phone, she made a single call.
A male voice answered. Cold. Robotic.
"It's time?"
"Yes," she whispered.
"Do I target Kwon?"
Eunah smiled.
"No… target Jungwon this time. Let them all watch him fall."
