Lilah gulped.
Such a thing happened while she was unconscious.
So that meant she had really died. Then, Kael's reaction was... She wished she could see the expression he had on his face but without seeing, she could feel it from the tone of his voice.
He was greatly saddened by the incident.
After Kael had raged with the doctors for them to bring Lilah back, he threatened to tear down the hospital that claimed to be the best in Country X, even to the point of bringing back a dead person.
The doctors decided to just change the organs in Lilah's body that had been destroyed beyond repair but it would be tricky since she was already dead.
Still, if they did not take action, the hospital, as well as their lives, would be destroyed by the Lycan King.
But then, someone came to their rescue.
"Where is he?" It was the voice of the second in command, Kael's right-hand man, Tyler.
The doctors finally heaved in relief as Kael turned to look at Tyler who was raging mad as he stormed in.
