Just as Erza was essentially becoming Garp's disciple, learning Haki earnestly under his guidance...
High above Mock Town,
Around ten thousand meters in the sky,
A place known to locals as Angel Island in the White-White Sea...
"Finally, something resembling a building," a man with short golden hair and a large cloak murmured. After wandering through the clouds for an unknown amount of time, he had finally reached what could be considered a shoreline.
He gazed at the building curiously—it looked quite strange. Despite his vast experiences in the Fiore Kingdom, he had never encountered such unusual architecture.
This strong-built man with dazzling blond hair was none other than one of Eden's companions—Laxus Dreyar. Once expelled from the Fairy Tail guild due to past mistakes, Laxus, an S-Class wizard and grandson of guild master Makarov, was now reconciled with his guildmates following the Tenrou Island battle against Acnologia.
Yet, Laxus remained burdened by his past misdeeds, constantly seeking ways to redeem himself in the eyes of his guildmates.
Now, after days of solitary wandering in the sky without seeing a single human soul, he instantly transformed into lightning, swiftly arriving at the building's doorstep. Knocking softly, he called out, "Hello? Is anyone home?"
"Hello," replied a delicate, pale-skinned girl with slender features and a nervous expression, cautiously peeking through the door five minutes later. She regarded him warily, "May I help you with something?"
"You're... an angel?" Laxus stared, eyes narrowing slightly upon noticing her wings. "Is this place Heaven? Have I been killed by Acnologia? Strange, though... Why haven't I seen any other Fairy Tail guild members along the way? Did everyone else end up in Hell? Natsu and Erza going to Hell makes sense. And Gray, the exhibitionist, definitely belongs there too. But the old man and the Thunder God Tribe shouldn't be in Hell."
"I'm not an angel," she laughed softly, relaxing her guard. "My name is Conis, and I'm just a regular girl. This isn't Heaven—it's Angel Island, or Sky Island, as you Blue Sea dwellers call it. Also, since we're talking, you're probably not dead."
"Huh?" Completely bewildered, Laxus thought, "What does she mean she's not an angel but this is Angel Island? That doesn't make sense at all."
"Let me explain in detail," Conis offered, sensing his confusion. "I don't know what you've been through to believe you're dead, but I can assure you we're currently ten thousand meters above the Blue Sea. This is the White-White Sea, specifically Angel Island—the Sky Island."
"Ten thousand meters high? Sky Island? Blue Sea? The magical elements here are definitely different. I'm clearly in a different world," Laxus concluded after quick analysis, feeling frustrated.
"So, Eden's dimensional magic must have succeeded," Laxus realized, "but instead of sending Acnologia away, it transported all Fairy Tail members elsewhere. I must find my comrades. Have you heard of Fairy Tail?" he asked Conis.
"Never heard of it," she replied, puzzled.
"That's impossible," Laxus frowned. Fairy Tail would always stir up major events, yet Conis knew nothing about them. Clearly, his guildmates weren't here.
"Do you know how to reach this 'Blue Sea'? Ten thousand meters below us?" Laxus asked decisively, concluding that his comrades were probably down there.
Conis hesitated, "Well…"
Suddenly, loud noises erupted outside.
"We've found him—the intruder 'God' Enel mentioned!" Four hostile figures encircled the house, eyes gleaming maliciously.
"Seems some fools looking for trouble showed up," Laxus noted calmly, aware of their presence, ready to confront the threat.
